They've requested for the updated PC and Medical along with original documents (ie. birth certificate), but it still says "application received." I know this whole thing is so unpredictable so I'm just going to play it cool and not fret about it!

It looks like you're in the very final stretch - Congrats!!!

MrsG not sure if you have done so already, but if not would you care to share your timeline with us? When did you apply? Get sponsorship approval? When did KGN make requests? etc.

I didn't do the timeline yet... until now! (I didn't know where to go to do it...) There were a few other requests from Kingston that I couldn't add due to space... (The main ones are there: Medical and PC)

Our e-cas still says "application received" even though they've requested for the redo of the PC and Medical, along with a bunch of other things... I also ordered notes around our 8-mth mark and it was quite depressing to read "not started" everywhere. But I know the notes are not always indicative of the actual stage of your application. Maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones and see some good news on your notes!

Our notes came back rather quickly (less than 4 weeks), but they were so disappointing that it didn't matter in the end lol! I guess that's what you get when you only pay $5

Just a little update: Husband is fitting in perfectly. we have gone hunting, he plays both soccer and ball hockey so he has been making tons of friends. Next baseball. We are going fishing tonight he is pretty excited about that. Also had a welcome BBQ last Friday and it was so awesome had about 40 people out for it.

He is currently working right now not full time but for the last 10 days its been full time. I am so happy that everything is falling into place. we have to get use to living with each other. that's been an adjustment. I am use to my personal space lol

so far everything has been blessed :-*

So happy to hear all of your news Carm and the "adjusting" lol.....will take some time so be prepared to be patient........that is something both hubby and I are still working out (5+ months after landing ) !! Blessings.

1 week until I am in Jamaica and then we head home on June 6!! Still can't believe that this is real and that he will be flying home with me!!
