ldl, it doesn't matter who has been waiting longer, do what you have to do, mama! Waiting any amount of time, especially over a year is nerve wracking. Like I said earlier today...paranoia sets in when we're left in the dark and our brain takes us to ugly places...I swear the stress of this process has taken at least a year off my life...no joke...

No kidding nev. I can not imagine the stress you feel. If only there was some way to get answers. I hate this process In every way!!

I know how you feel! everyday feels like a gamble. I hate the not knowing. I was telling my husband that if they were to tell us when we applied last Sept 2012 that by Nov 2013 you would get the PPR. Then fine I could handle that and prepare for that.

My hubby says that to me all the time, carm. At least you would know and could live your life and not put things on hold.

I was talking to my step daughters mom on the phone down in JA and you know how jamaican's truly believe in their dreams, while she woke up the other morning and said to her mom "u know what......i dreamed i went home with Dad on Dec 26th" said she seen him in the dream picking her up in a car and everything. Then her mom said she dreamed the other day also that she was packing her suitcase! I just started crying hearing this. Believe and it will happen they say!

When I found this forum , I had already sent away our app . I knew nothing about immigration . I freaked out ! Why didn't I save hotel receipts, why didn't I have a bigger wedding, why didn't I have pics taken and the list goes on . It was the people on this forum that kept what little sanity I had left , so ... What I'm saying is... Keep your chin up , think positive and know that it's in God's hands and love will prevail .... It's all we've got... Hold on tight !

Yes it must end one day!! I try to remind myself of that.

Someone tried to break in my hubbies house last night while him and his son were sleeping. They stole everything off the verandah that they could but the craziest part is that they sprayed some sort of "sleeping gas" under the door of one of the bedrooms before they tried to break in to it. Luckily no one was sleeping in there. According to the police that's what it was. I'm just so sick of worrying about them all the time!!! It's so freaky and we all know the police do absolutely nothing!! This stress definitely takes time off my life and there is nothing I can even do from here. I just need them here. Now.

I agree and I believe in Jamaican people's dreams. Lol that seems weird but they come true so often! Maybe they are just more in tune or something!!

ldl, I'm so sorry to hear this happened and thank God your hubby and son are okay.

Whenever something happens to hubby, I feel the exact same way...I think we all do...
