I just been working with my aunty here so i dont have that much time to be online that often any more. i still have not heard anything as well... my wife emailed them and they have not respond to her email as yet so i just have to sit and wait on these ppl until they do what they have to do...

OMG. Maddants sorry to hear about your denial. I knew how much you were looking forward to go be with your wife.
I'm sure your taking this very hard because you wanted to be one of us with a landing story. At least you started the appeal right?

If I get denied I'm gonna die! not physically but all the other ways!
Because of your experience I told my husband and he coming back for winter because we want to have sufficient evidence. I know that does not help you but, please don't hide or feel embarrassed!

You were close to a lot of people on here, we are offering you a shoulder or 2 to lean on. Good luck with everything...

The Yukon is very beautiful lots of land not many people. The weather is cold in the winter and in June/July can get up to +38c but most of our year is winter oct to April. Spring and fall are short. In May to July we get 24 hours of daylight. I am telling you that 2 am looks like 2 in the afternoon. Tons of people from all over come up here in the summer. People fall in love with this place all the time. Where I am there is about 2,000 people you think it would be really sad and lonely but people keep themselves busy plus the community is amazing with events in the winter. The coldest I have walked to work was -54c usually in January it drops to -50 for 2 weeks. Let me tell you after u feel -50 -25 feels like spring. The last 3 days have been -40. You have to plug in your cars and truck in order for it to start. Also you get square tires because the freeze in that shape until you use ur car for awhile. It's is really something different here. Defiantly a something different here and I think some where everyone should experience once but I recommend summer lol

Thanks for taking the time to answer.. I guess you have to really enjoy the winter to be able to survive up there... :-*... I know most major cities are multicultural... I doubt this is the case for the Yukon?... what does your Hubby think, anticipate...

You east coast girls are a whole different kind of crazy....man, do you know how to party!!!!
I had my first fiddlehead, blueberry beer, and deep fried pickle in NB!!! The east coast is truly majestic and everyone should visit there at least once in their lifetime! Maybe we should all rent a motorhome and travel as a group from the east coast to the west coast with our hubbies!!! ;D

We're pretty hard core, not even going to lie. I have yet to find a man or woman who isn't from down home who could drink me under the table (back in my day of course). I always thought it was cute that people would want to try and being the stubborn spudster that I am, I would DEFINITELY be paying for it the next day.

I can honestly say with a true and honest heart that I have not gotten drunk in... oh goodness now... let me think... about 2 years or more. I think it's much closer to 3 years. I'm just not into it anymore... growing up will do that to you I guess. lol

I love Sandals, Kadi. We got married at Beaches Negril and have stayed at Sandals Negril and Sandals Whitehouse. We have also stayed at Couples resorts but we prefer Sandals. We are going to Sandals Whitehouse in January -- it is one of our favorites.
