never got them out of normal processing time but I think maddants wife did receive an email from them saying they are due in 30 days but due to certain exceptions they can go outside of the 30 days....

lol last set of mine came at 4:02pm.....i had just shut down my work computer and then my phone dinged at me saying I had an email and there they were.....lol

LMAO no I meant accounting.....that is my profession! Do you not put foreign minutes on hubbys phone.. it is much cheaper....it costs me about $20 every two to three weeks and we talk about 3 to 4 times a night (more on weekends) I just call him, he don't answer but just calls me back.

For sure I do... but we went through a time that for some reason he wasn't getting international minutes (may or may not have been a rough patch : ) lol!!!

It's back now thank goodness. So we have Skype, whatsapp, facebook, phone, and imessage.... we're pretty much set! hahaha

lol not so well ... like most people coming from jamaica no matter how you tell them it is a struggle here they believe it is a road paved with gold and jobs come out and grab you. so it was a shock to him find out that i was right that life here is not as easy as they think.... he worked here and there, but we came to the conclusion earlier on that with his skills being stuck in a warehouse for the rest of his life was a waste ....so that is why he is back in school. He is taking a course in electrical engineering (he loves the class) but wishes he was out making money. Like I said before we have to make sacrifices in order to get where we want to go..... how are you going doll long time no talk any progress on your file yet?

I hear that!!! I think my husband has it straight. He already has his plan of hopefully keeping one of the jobs I have set up (if they're still available), but he wants to work towards becoming a police officer. I have a few friends on the force so they said they will give him the good, the bad and the ugly and he can then make an informed decision. He already knows he needs to be a citizen before he can even think of that!

I'm worried too. Mine was also considering the JA force and I held up a HUGE red stop sign! lol I think when he gets the REAL stories from friends (Male & Female, different divisions) only then can he make an informed decision. Him have him crazy fren dem gwan bout it 'mad' to be offica. No sah!

Sorry, I get a little passionate when it's my husband's life on the line. I hope when we comes, he makes the right decision for our family, but I would never hold him back from genuine opportunities

I just booked a trip to JA for the last two weeks of January so hubby and I can spend our anniversary together!!!!

My friend is coming to JA around that time as well for Jazz...have a blast Nev enjoy that anniversary together but praying it will be in Canada.

i would not have stopped him if he wanted to persue a carrer here in canada in law enforcement but i wont lie its a weight off my mind knowing he changed his mind .
