lol not so well ... like most people coming from jamaica no matter how you tell them it is a struggle here they believe it is a road paved with gold and jobs come out and grab you. so it was a shock to him find out that i was right that life here is not as easy as they think.... he worked here and there, but we came to the conclusion earlier on that with his skills being stuck in a warehouse for the rest of his life was a waste ....so that is why he is back in school. He is taking a course in electrical engineering (he loves the class) but wishes he was out making money. Like I said before we have to make sacrifices in order to get where we want to go..... how are you going doll long time no talk any progress on your file yet?

Well from the beginning you have always been honest and straight forward with him. So I know he knows you only want what is best for him and will push him to be and do his best. We always make sacrifices for the ones we love. Coodles for him for being willing enough to step outside of his comfort zone and start creeping before he can walk again.

As for US...we are still in the journey...honestly...a part of me feels that we needed this. This distance, struggle, and separation... do not get me wrong we are dying to be with each other. Since this process began we have become so much closer, communicate so much better, and have found a true appreciation and love for one another that may not have developed if it wasn't for this "TEST". We feel so equipped for what ever life has to throw our way.

Including my Masters I will be finished in 2016, might be longer if I do some research in Jamaica. But I am really pushing for June 2016.

School is going great. I have so many things going on right now that I have like three planners, papers every where with contact information for events I am planning oh yes and those dreaded assignments and papers to write.

Any takers on writing my paper it is due tomorrow...8-10 pages double spaced. Female gang members and victimization.

I am trying to do some research out there this summer if I could find enough time to do the research needed to do the research...lol.

Question: If you received your notes past the normal processing time...did they send an email to set your expectations?

trust me on that one i am probably one of the most educated dummies around here ... i took nursing dropped out, legal assistant dropped out .... have a degree in business adminstration , psw degree and now am working on getting my travel agent certification.... hopefully i will stick to this one lol im a flake i know it ......

i grude you all who are planning on trips to jamiaca ... that is the only part of the process i miss ..... going to ja every 3 months ..... it been 7 months since i have been back and it looks like next year this till i get to go.... i seems like it has been forever ..... i need a cold redstripe in the sun right about now ;D ;D

never got them out of normal processing time but I think maddants wife did receive an email from them saying they are due in 30 days but due to certain exceptions they can go outside of the 30 days....

Sounds like you are a professional student to me. When you find your calling than nothing will be more rewarding.
