hey guys can you plz assists me on the Additional Family Info form. I am an adopted child, when fulling the section A on the form do i have to put my biological parents as mother and father? Or my adopted parents information?

I would suggest calling CIC and asking them, I did a search to try and find out the information for you but I was unable to find anything out. Me i would think your adopted parents are your legal guardians but maybe CIC will think different, not sure sorry.

Good evening ladies! Just stopping in to say hello. I still believe that the shower of PPRs is going to start before the end of this week! Hang in there.........

I am leaving for Jamaica on Monday and I'm getting so excited. Can't sit still, can't concentrate on work, having trouble sleeping!! I'm a hot mess!!
The wedding plans are all in order and our application is slowly coming together.

Question for you ladies who got married in Jamaica... Did you do any type of wedding favours? I was thinking just to do those candied almonds in a little bag, or maybe little jars of Canadian maple syrup... but my fiance said he doesn't think it should be any kind of food. Any other suggestions?? Thanks!

I had my wedding in JA and I did fans for my guests which seems to be a popular idea lol. We did our wedding on the beach in August so the fans were definitely needed. Are you getting married on the beach or in a church or what is your lactation ?

I would think they want your adoptive parents information considering many people don't know their biological parents. If you have all of the information you could put your adoptive parents details on the form and add an additional page with your biological parents details.

Slowly but surely PPRs and coming.

CocoVanilla; I wish for you a beautiful wedding and that your day is stress-free. I also did a candy bar which was a big hit and had them put their candies in personalized jars for souvenirs; and personalized boxes and paper bags were there if they wanted to have candy during the reception or as a take home.

Still confident that more PPRs will be seen in October; living in the supernatural and believing God for his promises.

We gave fans as wedding favours and had them the same colour as my maid of honours dress. I think they were very much appreciated!! We also gave a Jamaican key chain to everyone but those were purchased when I arrived in Jamaica. We also had our guests blow bubbles as we walked down the aisle (or sand in our case!).
I didn't want to do any food related items as I wasn't sure on the rules of what I could bring into Jamaica and also wasn't sure what would stand up to the hot sun. Didn't want to give our guests a bag of melted goop if the candy or food items melted.
