Our application was received July 31, 2013. Approved to be a sponsor sometime late August. Application was sent to Sydney, Australia in September and mid October was when they started processing. Decision was made roughly on October 19 (or so).
When will we receive a letter (he is here in Canada on a visitor visa and we will cross the border when the confirmation eventually comes through)?

no that is not the way it goes.....when they get your app they put a due date of one year on it.......technically they should be looking at your app by then but that does not mean they are, it doesnt not mean they will contact your husband either......they will only contact him if they need something from him (when they look at the app) everyone has a due date of one year on their app........some have never heard anything from Kingston.
