Hi everyone!

Just got back from JA, spent one week with hubby for his B'day, it was awesome but it went SO FAST!!!

We had to send some documents to KG (Quebec sponsor's approval and hubby's Quebec selection certificate), so we rent a car, visited some relatives in Spanish Town Sunday and showed up at the High commission office Monday morn. Stayed in the car and waited as there was no parking, to see my man coming back to me with the paper in his hands still! He saids that the security agent wouldn't take them, I was so pissed! Went myself to talk with the man, argued with him and wouldn't hear anything. He saids that we need to come back on Tuesday or Thursday at 1:30pm to remit some papers in person, like no one have work or things to do! Our second option was to send it by DHL for 900 bills an hour later, few blocks away... What a scam!

KG never mentionned such a thing in their email response after two months of waiting... They are truly testing our patience, finance and determination I tell ya. Wanted you to know.

I have heard that you are supposed to drop off documents on Tuesdays and Thursdays during certain times; however, my hubby and others have dropped off things on other days. Maybe it was because it was requested from Kingston. Who knows? Their processes change on a dime...

ok so I have a question cause I am curious......since they took your passport at the interview, how will you get it back since you didn't provide a DHL package?

to tell you the truth...I did not know about the DHL thing until recently thru the thread, no one from CIC mentioned a pre-paid package...so..another WTH comes next issue...The hubby told me that at his post office if something is delivered to the post you have to pay the fee there at the post office...hopefully this is the case...other wise I have NO idea..unless they call him to pick it up...has anyone else not sent a pe-paid package?

Just wanted to drop in and say my condolences to those who are still waiting especially Nevaeha, Maddants and Chickie.

The process is truly messed up... but who knows what plans God has in store.

OK here's the next question Now that a decision has been made, but our medicals expire the 29th Of October and I dont know how or when we are getting the PP back...are they going to extend the medicals for another three months so he can land? Geeezuz here comes more grey hair!!!

Congrats waitingonforever, I wish you all the best with you new life with hubby. My ecas status says Dm as well this weekend, but my hubby already has his passport. May the visa officer will call your hubby to pick up his passport.

. Maybe they will tell you that you have to leave before it expires or maybe they already extended it. They extended my hubbies passport when they had it.

If a decision has already been made they either 1) already extended your hubby's medical or 2) expect him to leave JA by October 29. The OP manual states that they are supposed to give you at least two months to leave JA before the medicals expire but we all know how well they follow procedures....

Hopefully they have your hubby on speed dial and call him bright and early Tuesday morning so he knows what's happening,
