Hello everyone, I have a question: Does anyone know how long it actually takes for the visa office in Kingston, Ja to send your PP back, if it was send from The Bahamas?? They received mine from May 17th, and I was told it would take 2wks. Also is there any means of being able to communicate with someone from the visa office by phone??? Also is it after you would've been issued the visa, does your application status on ECAS changed from in process to complete/decision made?

Miracle_44 - Greetings! I have no idea how long it takes if your PP was sent to the Bahamas.

My hubby sent his PP on the 11th and they called him back on the 27th to pick it up today.

You can try to contact the visa office by phone but I think I've heard you'd have a better cahnce of being invited over to the White House for dinner than them answering a phone over there.

Also, for my hubby once they requested his PP it updated to Decision Made. ECAS won't update to complete until after you or your spouse lands in Canada.

I hope this helps. Anyone else have some details?

Miracle44: Normally it takes 2-4 wks..seeing that it has to be sent via courier back to Bahamas wait for a while......seeing that there was a bit of disturbance you should wait a while....

It is customary for them to request your passport over the phone....Relax your passport will soon in your pretty little hands!

When did u apply? how long was the process for you.

sheraig - I have 1 child, son, he turns 16 on thursday....wow how time flies! he is now living with his dad since last November. Teen years ugh!!! :-X ??? :'(

my hubby and I would like to try to have 1 or 2 babies - I'm getting on in age though :-[ we started trying on our wedding night but it didn't work. We'll try again when I visit in a few weeks but I don't think it will happen then either...wrong timing. I would much prefer that he is here and we are together when it does happen so we can go through it together. I really don't want to be pregnant and alone. So I hope and pray KG processes his PRV fast so we can get to work on that lol

Welcome to the newcomers!!..... Just posting to let you all know I am here...just very busy with work and lots going on at my house as I am getting ready for a reunion in July. I was SO hoping my husband would be here...but now I can see that will not be happening as his Meds expired last Friday...I am so down about this process and can't seem to get my mood up again...SO SO many things I had planned have come and gone without my husband at my side. Anyways..I am here and always try to check in and see how everyone is...I might not post but I always look in on you guys.... So I wish everyone a wonderful June and hope for more updates...even though I have given up thinking I will have anything to update this month either :'(

I received my CAIPS notes which I ordered about a month back on there wasn't really anything done on my file. The only thing highlighted is BACKLOGGED ..... how exciting of POS.

They haven't even looked through any of my documents yet. The next BF date is on June 30 which I am hoping they will call for an interview. Nothing is even sure of anymore cuz they are updating their system starting June 28. Arggghhhh..... I have every right to say *censored word*ing POS office

They effing made a decision to request for an interview since Sept 2009. Like wtf man .... plus, I see that some of their notes on my past immigration are totally incorrect. Eg, they stated that I have applied for PRRA twice and both times got rejected. WTF do these muddafuckers do at their jobs?

I need to take action. Any suggestions or advice on what I can possibly do next? I don't have all fucking year and more to wait on them to complete my application.

7 fucking pages come and there isn't anything much on it except that they summarized the application and a whole buncha fucked up initials on docs received.

I am highly pissted right now man ..... I sometimes wish the GOC would do their jobs properly.

I Tried to log in all day today and couldn't get in either. I was hoping that maybe they were updating files which caused some sort of temporary issue with the site. (maybe wishful thinking)

Confused - I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope you have some better news by the end of June.
