I've been through this process once before, back in 2002. My ex is from Trinidad. That whole process took us 6 months from the time of filing to the time when she landed in Canada. This would be my 2nd marriage.

We wish the process was like that now but sadly it isn't thanks to all of the fraud cases over the years. Unfortunately some of the legitimate people suffer because of it....

yes hopefully in Canada for it with family but if things don't speed up I will need to return to Canada money is getting low

This would be my 2nd marriage. If you prepare your paper work well, the process is quick. My paper filing was 1.75" thick.

Also because you have sponsored before might not be easy the second time around they may want an interview not to scare you or anything but just hope for the best. Personally it doesn't matter how you file its all in the eyes of the visa officer.

Am not worried. My divorce was legitimate. I left after her constant complaints and uncaring towards me. I have a child with my ex and 50% custody. Never sat foot once in a court room. Did the divorce myself. Cost me $750 and I paid it all. I discovered 4 years after that she cheated on me 2x. So good thing I moved on. My son is happy, that is all that matters.

Well baby and I are settled back here in Canada and the countdown is on for our return to JA. We are heading back just after Christmas. Going to spend New Years with my hubby. Planning on staying for a couple months this time now that I have everything settled here.

Question about ordering notes....when you do them online an you get to the payment page so you still need to send the paper signed by your spouse? I am his representive so do I still need this?
