Hi everyone, hope you have all been keeping well. Not sure if anyone else has posted on this yet; however, the processing times at POS and Kingston have gone up again from 19 months to 20 months.........arrrrggghhhh :'( Just saw that CIC did a quarterly update........please Lord help us all to cope.

On a good note......2 more sleeps till the baby meets her daddy and I'm back with the hubby for a few months. Bags are packed for the most part a d I have a feeling they are over weight.

Hi chickie72, feeling real bad for you folks waiting so long. I pray that this is a small blip due to summer vacations, the PAFSO strike and the change in the immigration minister. There does seem to be more activity and processing that occurs in the 3rd and 4th quarters of the government's fiscal year, so that may mean we could still see a lot more activity and PPRs/visas from Oct. 2013 to March 2014. In the name of Jesus we cry out & pray fervently and of one accord, for faster spouse and family reunification. Amen.

Amen to that but yes, more happens after August actually.....it has always been that way.....I think alot has to do with so many farm workers going up too, that puts a slow down on the passport stamping also.

Can't wait to see you guys lol I was overweight with 2 of my checked luggages. Air canada didn't charge me I was reading online it was okay up to 70lbs. Hope you and the baby have a safe flight see you when ur here.

I'm far from u I'm close to kingston....I'm good u? Well both my luggages were over 60lbs nd the guy didn't charge me.

You got a nice agent then. They are suppose to charge for anything over 50 but usually give you a 5lb leeway. Your lucky. Maddants the weight is still 50 with all airlines. And to be honest your better off flying with Caribbean airlines as you get 2 free checked bags at 50lbs each. If you go Air Canada or Westjet you get one free bag at 50lbs and have to pay for an extra bag.

I'm lucky....traveling with the baby I get 3 checked bags and 1 oversize item for free. Thank god cuz I have a lot of stuff I'm bringing with me

Why does air Canada's website say up to 70lbs travelling internationally? If a had a nice agent then God bless him. Or maybe they did it out of appreciation as there was a huge line up and only have 2 agents working and 1 was caught up in something. Then he came and opened leaving 2 of them working while the other one was handling something. I'm still waiting on my barrel to come. You must be excited girl I hope your gate isn't far of a walk at Pearson cuz mine was sure a distance or I hope someone could help u to the gate.

thank you sis......that what i was thinking too....me and child of god is going to be on that same caribbean airline since that is the first flight smoking out of jamaica in the morning....we dont want to wait any longer for the evening flight at all lol..but as long as im on a plane heading to wifey then im good....westjet have cheap fares but knowing me im going to have 2 suitcase pack to the brim ....when you think about it the fares will be about the same prices when you add the extra luggage prices with the fare...

Thank goodness we don't have much coming back 3 luggages between bus of us. One of my luggages got destroyed somewhere on my way to jamaica. The whole back of my luggage got ripped.

Hubby is liking the stay at home mom or wife. I'm not use to it one bit use to working. It's pretty boring at times wash cook clean watch tv ughh lol. Can't wait for the beach I try to go once a month as its far. Having no car sucks and rentals we rent 3 days a month.
