The last I read was Tuesdays and Thursdays but that may have changed. I'm 100% positive they will give your hubby that information when they call him. :D

Well it would be to Jamaica, I know I just talked to my friend who moved her dogs to DR while they wait for their application to get approved she said it cost about 2500 CND and I think my Dog is too big to move.

Unless your dog is flying from the uk and u plan to quarantine him for 6 mos. it is my understanding dogs cannot be imported to Jamaica from here because our country has rabies and Jamaica is an island that doesn't have any rabies at all.

hey there sis....yes it very frustrating that we are not with our other half at all......a few of us on this forum are waiting for a very longtime included myself but i know what is going on with my files and they don't... I know everyone want to get thru a.s.a.p. I know that we are here praying for that day when our spouse will be reunited with each other.....Nev, Chickie Child of God, and Daddys Girl, Our day is coming very sooner than you think. time is going by fast when you don't relies it at all so just hold the faith with me and God will sure deliver.

Hi my Brother,

Thank you for always keeping me in your thoughts and prayers. I hope you get better soon and back to your old self. Take care and ALL of our times are near.

Good afternoon Forum Family,

The weekend is coming to an end and another work week ahead for Kingston.

Motivational Words

When the load is heavy and unbearable, this is when the Lord strengthens us beyond our own understanding. When the darkness is dense and scary, this is when the Lord shines his light into our lives. When you are lost and afraid, this is when the Lord stretches his hand and guides you to safety.

Cast your burdens and troubles onto the Lord, for he will give you rest. Ask for the yolk to be destroyed and your blessings to be delivered. When you are in doubt, unsure, or confused look for clarity from above. The Lord knows exactly what we need and when we are Ready for it.

I know we may all believe that we are ready but no one other than the Almighty knows when we are perfectly ready and in alignment for our Blessings to be bestowed. Until then lets prepare by being steadfast, faithful, and sure in our Lord who has this whole situation and our lives (especially our marriages) in control and perfect balance.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!

Stay Sweet as Always!

Hey stranger; how nice of you to drop by! :D

I'm so sorry to hear that you are 'stuck' in this process like a lot of us from the first quarter of 2012. :(

Have you ordered your GCMS notes? They will indicate 'due dates' in each section i.e. eligibility, background checks, etc. Everyone has a 'bring forward date' which is one year from the date Kingston received your application.

You can try contacting your MP to see if they will do anything on your behalf. Some people have had help from them; however, many of them will not do anything until you have reached the 19 month mark. Again, this is 19 months since Kingston received your application, not since you applied. (This seems so unfair because many of us waited three months for Stage 1 approval when we applied).

Good luck and thanks for letting us know you're still around.

I hope you hear great news from Kingston in the very near future!

You are welcome and I think you should do whatever your gut/heart tells you to do! And if you have the same MP your neighbour contacted when she was going through the process you may just luck out.

Remember: (Quote from the CIC website regarding Stage 2 processing)

"The tables below indicate application processing times at Canadian visa offices once Step 1 has been completed."

Stage 2 calculations start once Stage 1 has been completed so you would have to count 19 months from July 2012 which puts it around February 2014. :( I'm in the same boat as you...but we're going to think positively and hope/pray our time will be any day now. :D

Good Morning Kingston! :D
