I just got a call from our immigration lawyer and I'm nearly shaking and in tears right now. She told me I'm at the end of the process they are requesting rprf and I just paid that recently.

So usually after the rprf is paid for how long do they request the passport? I bought my return ticket can I move the date up from jan to sooner if it happens?

Thanks chickie72. The reason I ask is that I did read somewhere that the IO goes back to the TRVs on the files to see if there were any "red flags" raised along the way. So if for some reason there was, ordering the notes from TRV refusals allows you to prepare to address/correct/rectify any prior issues. Blessings to you and the forum friends and family.

see now that is something totally new for me because I didn't even know that you could apply for your TRV notes.......we learn something new everyday! THanks

Afternoon all

Well today hasn't been a good day at all. Back in April I got fired from work for being pregnant - this is being dealt with by lawyers and the labour board. Now EI hasn't given me any money yet for my Mat leave because they are investigating why I got fired. Pure BS if you ask me. So needless to say I've been in tears all day.

Called my husband and he made me feel better just hearing his voice. I said to him that today isn't a good day and all I want is a hug from him. He reminded me that I have 1.5 months until I am there. That made me happy knowing I have that to look forward too

So a friend of mine knows a guy that ships stuff to JA all the time in barrels. So she got the info for me. Sea Jamaica its called. The barrel is 49 to ship its 45 and to clear down there its about 3500 to 4500 JA dollars. So I'm off to pick the barrel up and to start filling it up!!! Good thing is since its the big barrel I can put the baby's swing in there since I can take it apart.

Ok enough of my venting. Just needed to get it off my chest

Oh an ummmmmm Kingston......why oh why haven't you called anyone today?? Please don't let this be like last year at the time where no one heard anything until the fall. Its summer, we know but some of us have been waiting WAY to long for our spouses to come home to us. I'm not asking for me yet....however I'd take it now...but there are a few peeps on here that have waited long enough

awww sammy sorry to hear that (BIGGGGG HUGGGGG from me ) Hopefully they will get it all worked out soon enough......you definitely have a case if they fired your for being pregnant because that is a big no-no.

The first time is always the hardest and you cant blame the family and friends for asking “most jamicans are ignorant to this whole process as I am sure most of all were until we got into the whole inmmigration fiasco, blame it on curiousity aka fassness but it is the nature of most people to want to know everyones business lol how else they gotnna chat you with punicie brother d and the shop owner down the street. The questions will die down with every trip you make ...right now honey you a hot topic in the gossip mill and everyone want talk about you.... Someone in the process to go to farrin is the top of the list for the gossip mongrels. I know it is hard on you we have all been there I used to celebrate everyday that passes as a victory cause that one less day to wait ( lol for me I celebrated it with a drink not suggesting will turn you into a boarder line alchi real quick) lol............... just keep the faith LIFE SOON SORT OUT

hmmmmm see i am not the only one that says this process will drive you to drink.....when Friday comes and I NEVER hear from Kingston, I then go drown my sorrows in ROCKSTARS and/or Smirnoff!

oh that is awesome news! Congrats girl......they requested mine in March and I know you paid yours shortly after that so just make sure you let know it has been paid, email them the receipt and all should be good!

I paid mine in March and still waiting to hear from them......Kerolsgirl paid hers in Dec and heard from them again in March.....so that will give you a basic time line anyways.

OMG I am so happy for you!!! I hope we hear something soon my poor husband is have a hard time the last week getting really down on himself. I just want to hug him right now.

Congrats O&O!!! Seems they are working their way through the November applicants. So clearly your application is "in process" even if it does not say so on Ecas!!! Thank god. I was losing hope for us all. I needed this bought of good news. Now Kingston keep it coming. Finish off 2012 and give us 2013 applicants some love.

Does someone have the site for the Notes? I had it saved to my work computer but switched the other day. My last notes came back to me on friday last week but it was for sponsorship application so a waste of time and $5 lol I already know all my information
