Good morning everyone. I want to say thanks for the advice. The thing is I received the documents on Tuesday. They had informed me that they were sent on March 18 2013 which was not true. They sent them on the 12 of this month, which was a day after I emailed them. I went and re-do my medical yesterday, and will be submitting my passport on Tuesday. Am just praying that they will return my passport soon. Can anyone tell me the average time they take before returning someone passport?

hey there sis....once they get back your medical result and put in the system they will then grant you the visa....but we sure cant give you a date on how long they will take...i would say give them a month then if you dont get it by then...email them and ask what is going on with the passport

The "Permanent Residence Application Status" for the principal applicant here in Jamaica does it actually change?
My wife who is the sponsor even thou the file was already approved and sent her status keeps changing yet mine remains the same.

ALL fees are paid, everything is in envelopes and all I need to do is head to Canada Post to mail off the application

I am sooooo excited, nervous, stressed and happy that this is finally going out.

not really........same ting with mines....the only thing change pon mines is that they took off the medical receive of it .......but it should say in process when they start on your application......which could take a while though

yes yours side should change to IN PROCESS when they start working on your file! Your wives side will say Decision made as per her sponsorship application.
