The basically want to see what your bringing into the country. I would follow what CIC says and fill out the form. Even if you are shipping stuff that will arrive later. Immigration will want to know

On the brighter side at least we are not these applicants. I would have had a "BIRD" if they sent back our application. This government is so full of discrimination it sickens me.

Hey sis, i read that article that you posted.......im so glad it not our application they just threw in the garbage like that......i feel bad for the ppl that been waiting for years just for them to find out that they cant live there dreams. At least they send back the money to the ppl them though but it really bad that it had to happen that way.....

Good morning everyone. I want to say thanks for the advice. The thing is I received the documents on Tuesday. They had informed me that they were sent on March 18 2013 which was not true. They sent them on the 12 of this month, which was a day after I emailed them. I went and re-do my medical yesterday, and will be submitting my passport on Tuesday. Am just praying that they will return my passport soon. Can anyone tell me the average time they take before returning someone passport?

so even though they are taking your passport...it does not mean you will get it back right away....if you just redid your medicals yesterday then they will be waiting to get the results of that before and finish up your application before sending your passport back to you. I think they are just being proactive in asking for your passport now.
