Yes Maddants, they did told me to repeat the medical as soon as I receive the documents from them (medical re-do forms). And immediately after doing so (the medical) I must submitt my passport along with an air way bill. Now I have not received the docs yet and it has been over a month. I sent them an email saying that I did not receive the docs they sent me as yet. they told me that they were mailed on 18 March 2013, and that I should give the mailing system some more time. One whole month for a local letter!! Come on!! I expressed my concern that they might have gotten lost in the mail, but they still want me to give it more time. Well I have a medical appointment mid next week, and I will not cancel. I just hope they will accept it even though I did not receive the docs from them.

Sure, they were the police certificate, proof of visit, phone records, proof of cohabitation for my husband and I, and my husband original divorce certificate.

I would make sure that you tell the doctor what your File # is so that he can put that on the medical....it will be easier for them to match it with your file if you do that.

I have heard that when you marry a citizen or permanent resident you get what is known as an open work permit. This is the premise on which I intend to get my husband-to-be to be able to work and stay with me once I get my landing. We are planning to get married July, he already has a temporary resident visa so he will come up, get married, and he can get the open work permit so he can work. That way we can be together while the filing is processed. (I will begin filing a soon as we get married)

My application was filed on October 2011, additional docs was requested on October of 2012. I sent the docs to them in November of 2012. March 2013 requset for repeat medical and passport.

Good evening missfrustrated and welcome to our forum family.

Personally, I would go and re-do the medical next week. One of our forum member's husband re-did his medical without being asked by Kingston and he has since landed. The moment you have completed your medical, send your passport and pre-paid way bill to Kingston with your name, application number, and the date you did your medical.

If you don't mind me asking, when did you send in your application? Stage 2 of the approval process begins when your application arrives in Kingston. I'm interested in knowing if it's been 18 months since you filed or since Kingston received your application.

That is so sad. It will get better soon. We skype 24hrs too. We sleep with the skype on, wake up with it on, leave the house with it on, it feelis like we are living together. He sees and hears everything that happen at my place and visa versa. I don't know what we would have done with out it. When he is at work we talking on messenger or facebook. We talk around the colock except when we are asleep. Trust me I know it must be super hard for you guys.
