lol KC: I been bussin me brain trying to figure it out.

GLO: for real the more positive you stay the more bearable the wait is. I have had one melt down so far and I dont intend to go back there. I know once I see hubby in June I can do another 6 months no prob! No matter how hard you think you have it somebody have it harder than you. So I intend to count my blessings everyday!

One day gone really brings us one day closer.

Glo...it is from when your AOR is stamped...cause my MP told me my file is into it's 11month of processing and my ecas says aug and my AOR says may.....so go with AOR date.
Also i called my MP yesterday and she phoned KG yesterday and spoke to someone, then phoned me today to tell me about the conversation.
I know she spoke to someone cause i asked her to email the info but she said because it was a verbal conversation on the phone she can not put it in an email.....so long story short, it took less then 24 hrs

LCW...for me the whole point of getting my MP to contact them was in hopes they would look at his file and see that everything is finished....maybe it worked, maybe it didn't...i guess MORE time will tell.....OH GOD I AM TIRED OF WAITING!!!!!

Missing...keep your chin up and we will all pray they call soon for his PP...but I know how you feel, as does everyone else still waiting such a long time for some news from KG. It really makes no sense in my mind how this process works with them and I guess that is why I get so down and out somedays...it is just so darn frustrating to say the least. I truly hope that you get that call soon!!!

Ok well I got the call for a job...but it only starts at the end of April and might be just short term, so we will see??? I think I will go tomorrow and check on a few other options just the same...Man when it rains it pours..hubby says yams are not selling right now in JA and he is out of gas for his stove and school fees are due, light bill and also groceries... These are the times I ask myself...why is it KG wants to keep people down and out. He could be up here working and providing, it makes no sense to me at all???...I am trying to stay positive and happy but it is times like this that really get you down. I know the feeling too with having to wait for EI...money becomes tight...I guess they say it is darkest before the dawn...but damn...enough already. I guess the good of all of this is he got all his tanks filled with the rain they are getting and so now he has enough water for at least 2 months. It is so hard when you rely on markets for your money...I feel so helpless right now and it really seems like it isn't going to get better and sometimes I think to myself...this could be all over if KG would just stamp the PP already!!!! Anyways...sorry for venting yet again I will get positive again I promise Jam, LCW, and everyone else here on the Forum...oh look Lotto Max commercial on TV...$30 million...I will buy a ticket Wish me luck!!

Oh and my tooth is MUCH better today ;D and KC cows feet....gross!!!!!!............lol

Well i have spent enought time at work today ...i am a hour late going home trying to catch up ...

Missing ...i understand so yes possible this will be a good thing ...It happen to us ...after the email it was the next day so fingers crossed its soon ...So hopefully those BG are done and they go "bwoy dis gyal a hassel mi...mi a mek har hubby lef cau mi cyaan tek har anymore....cha!! babababab hahaha tht is what i think happened to us ..i just lost it and bothered this shit outta them at the end... ;D

LCW...i am hoping they soon catch onto the fact that i am not going any where until i get my hubby home...monday marks the 60 days for no emailing....so guess i need to start thinking about what i will say in the newest email....somebody is going to get tired of me....cause i am sure as tihs tired of them

Missing nuh worry dem soon call I wish it was me. I have the long wait, but I am just taking it easy cause him muss have fe come one day. This whole process is painful. I would never wish anyone to go thru this wait. What the government should do is speed up on re-uniting famalies of family class it juss dont mek any sense....

Time is the essance on these matters...its just a matter of time the way me see it.

Hey ppl's I am glad I found u all. At least we are all knowing how each other feels. And you guys always bring a smile and a chuckle.
I have to agree cows feet greaaat..lol. I know when I was home hubby fed me stuff no idea what it was. I would ask and he tell me just eat its good. So what was I eating no idea but yup it was good. I remember when we were younger my sister and her friend would go and take "aunties" chicken feet from the fridge and paint the nails and then go out with them and pull their hand up their shirt and use the feet as their hands.. freaken nuts. I laughed when I saw hubby cooking them and saying they the best. Ya with bright red nail polish.
Mel I hope you find something soon. At times like this when ya know ,money is short at home and things are runnin low its hard. I find that when hubby does get work he always gets ripped off for pay and he can' do anything about it. The place he rents he hasn't even been able to pay rent but they are good ppl and said to just take care of it when he gets back home and gets working.
So hopefully things will pick up for your hubby.
I hope this week ends with someone getting a call or more good news from our friends.

Thanks all, my kids are great... Trouble tho... Lol... They are loving school and such down here... They get tons of attention being the only foreign kids around... They will really miss being such "big shots" when we head back lol...

HF - we are near spalding, Clarendon... Beautiful up here, but very different... The kids and I are much more accustomed to town, so country life is an adjustment

kc - my daughter can sound very much like a yardie when she wants my son will only chat the pawta to the animals lol

Good Morning All!!! Phew, been a minute since I been on here....sooooooooo much reading to catch up on, lol. The biggest thing that I get from reading all of your posts is a HUGE smile on my face. Congrats to everyone who is progressing with their applications....and strength to those who are patiently waiting.

Work has been crazy busy, BUT i did manage to "tweak" my schedule so that I can make a spur of the moment trip back to JA in 9 days!!!! WOOIIIII!!! lol, can't wait and this time, when I return back home to canada, I will have a different last name...

I still haven't recieved any correspondance from the embassy since the AOR, but I'm taking it as a good thing, so that we have time to send in our certificate and such, for them to make the necessary adjustments to our application before they just go ahead and reject the conjugal app. part.

POSITIVE OVER NEGATIVE!!!!!!

hello everybody hope someone will get thru this week ...been to spalding almost everyday anytime i go to jamaica coz hubby live in frankfiled and i love the country side sometimes we just stay in a hotel for 2 days last time stay in doctor cave hotel and it the worst hotel ever but i love jamaica coz feel like backhome in my country ;D ;D been there four times in a year already and would not hesitate to go back again and again ;D ;D ;D ;D

Today is a new day and I am sorry for yesterday...I shouldn't vent on here as we need to stay positive and I am sorry for being down yesterday.

Well God is great as I didn't win the lottery YET!!!! BUT I did get my tax return this morning...so I am off to spend some money and send some money to hubby My only request for him is to buy himself some Guiness and the girls a treat.

I just want to let you guys know that I really enjoy this forum and I don't know what I would do if I didn't have all these post to read and keep me going. I tip my hat to all of you and wish you a great day and hopefully some news from KG...Take care everyone and hope when I get home I read of an UPDATE!!!!!! 8)

morning my family, tiny little update AOR received mar 8, lawyer just just received today. Have an awesome day. gotta go some rims for the car. These are not se-y tal
