I am new to this forum.
My husband and I were married December 13/12 (been together since February 2009) and I am just waiting for our marriage certificate and his completed application and then I can send everything off!!
I am so happy to find a support group while we go through this proccess!

Good afternoon tintin, I'm in the same situation as you and chickie. What leads to an arc for your hubby? My huband was in Canada for 5 years after overstaying. He came on a farm work visa never left. Immigration was looking for him never caught him. There were warrants out for him he hired a immigration lawyer never had to go to jail and get bailed. Immigration lawyer took him to a immigration officer gave him his plane ticket that I bought for him. He checked in with his officer weekly till his flight. Took him to the airport checked in went to the immigration officer left on a exclusion deportation banned for a year. Never been to jail here in Canada or in jamaica. Hope you can help chickie and me

My situation is the exact same as yours, hubby was never asked for an ARC because the year expired before his file started processing at the visa office

you are not a drag.....that is what we are all here for.....have you emailed them and have they gotten back to you at all......the others girls said that once your file is in process they are usually really good at getting back to you via email.......my suggestion would be to keep emailing them and let them know you are waiting and you are fed up!
