Soooo I emailed KG to ask them for an estimated date as to when the passport would be mailed back to hubbie and their matter of fact email response this am was:

Approximately two weeks.

Is this two weeks from the date they call or when the passport is received at their office?

We're looking at flights and need to find the most cost effective date!

Update on my papers - they are being filed next week EEEEKKKK!!!!

I'm excited yet nervous at the same time. I am hoping that I have all the information there and that I wrote enough to prove our relationship

Halfmoon - no Option C yet but I called again and they are going to resend it so hoping to have it my next Friday. Also - any update on Hubby's PP?

My story is crazy with my hubby.
My husband came to canada in 2006. Got married in 2008 and filed for his papers. The woman that he paid to marry him decided to say forget it. A interview was booked for them to go in and she didn't show up, So he didn't bother going. In 2009 he filed for refugee, me and him got together the end of 2009. Refugee failed in 2010. I married him in April 2011 because we had to wait for 3 months for the divorce to go through for the first marriage. (yes he waited that long to process it, like a typical man who is lazy and doesn't realize how serious things are after the fact). PRAA documents arrived, filled out the PRAA, submitted all the proof, nope, DENIED. I had our son in August 2011, they allowed him to stay for one extra month. He left on Sept 27 2011. So now that's why we have all this bull***t to deal with.
In all this entire process is his fault and he's accepted that finally. And I'm 8 years older than my husband, I'm surprised they didn't ask for an interview. I assuming us having a baby was enough proof.

Note of advise for those that plan on filing refugee, this process is just to get your foot in the door. Don't expect refugee to be a valid reason when half the time these people that do the interview have been to Jamaica and all they see is the pretty green grass and tourist area in Montego Bay on the other side. In their eyes Jamaica is not a bad place, so they just think if you need to, move to the other side. Refugee is just to get your foot in the door. It's best to get married in the end.

I would think it would be from the date it was received in the office because some people might not send it right away...no idea why they would wait though

My hubby got married as well paid the chick she didn't file for him she wanted more money he refused filed divorce and 2 yrs later we got married divorce came through okay.
