You are sooooo right LDL, it's the not knowing part that drives us mad! And I don't understand how people that applied after others get through sooner. Ladies & gents please don't take this personally if you go through the process quickly - I am honestly happy for you. If Kingston at least communicated with us and we knew that our applications were in process and that they are waiting on something or there is a red flag then it would at least give us some reassurance that our time soon come. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Yes she told me she can't do anything until after the 17 months actually and the 17 months starts from the time my application reaches Kingston not CIC Mississauga.....i think she was just loading me a crock of *siht*

Thanks Halfmoon. I could not feel more secure in my realtionship. My hubby is fantastic. He calls me all the time, and keeps me in his life and tells me everything going on. But not just that, I have never had any concerns with him. Keeping busy definitely helps. Work is the best thing for me, I love my job and I usually look forward to going to work. It helps a lot. Hubby and I skype a lot in the evening which also helps, and is kind of a tease at the same time haha.

OK so either my mp is behind times or yalls mps are full of *censored word*
i called him this morning out of curiosity>>>> i told him that i am applying for my husband from Jamaica that i was approved in Mississauga and my file was transferred to Jamaica in September.... how long do i have to wait to get and inquire done ....... he said to forward my information to him and he will do an inquiry and get back to me in 3 business days

Yes we here all understand and it's true.

BUT, regardless the MP's can use their discretion and check at the half way mark if they are in a good mood. That's why mine said 10 months.

Chickie, I would try back with them. Let them know how stressed you are and you need their intervention.
