Hi everyone. I'm applying via POS but I was trying to get some info and I heard that this forum has a bunch of seasoned advisors . I received a request for FBI certificate because i lived in the US for a while and wanted to enquire if anyone on this forum has done any previously and what time frame it took? Thanks for any advice my Jamaican family can offer because persons are indicating it will take upwards of two months which makes me very unhappy. Also when applying did you send any additional info other that ID and prints they requested?

on the site you will find two for forms. 1, to fill in your name adress..ect... and the other your finger prints. you will need to purchest a money order of $18 u.s dollars to send in with everything else. it takes about 6 week not including mailing time. it would be best if you sent it express.

actually i think i need to changes that. my application was mailed off on feb 28, 2012 and and according to my ecas my application was received march 23, 2012.

I had to order one for my hubby and it took approximately 7 weeks. I had to send finger prints from the police station and that was it other than the form and payment.

Hey Chickie/Maddents, a big thank you for your efforts, everyone here is so understanding, its my pleasure getting to know you all...I checked both links out, the only problem with yours Chickie, is that its in french, I may be Canadian, but I dont read a word of french, lol, which is what that page is written in...ok now, the $100 question, any ideas on how much the visa costs? I am writing everything down I have been told, what he needs to send me, keeping track of all the costs so I know how much I need for everything, I believe this is the last question I need answered on this part.
