I need island life for 6 months of the year/6 months in the high city.

That would be the perfect balance!

wooooh whooo winter months at blondies house im down
cause jah know its bitter out today

It's darn cold man!!!

I feel like a dried leaf. No amount of lotion is helping my poor skin.

TRUST ..... it on that one
and don't get me started on my lips.... lip gloss has been retired and have to gone to old school Jamaican style Vaseline

poor hubby is getting used to his lips feeling weird also - he keeps biting at them cause they feel a way they havent felt before....

think i gotta buy him some long underwear and things lol.....another thing he said was in jamaica when its cold outside, its cold in the house...and he said its cold outside but hot in the house lol...so is trying to find balance by sleeping with the window a lil open....aww lol

i cant imagine how much worse the cold must feel to those who have never felt it, when even i walk out there and freeze x_X

i told him enjoy being in the house for a little in the warmth while u can cause once u start work ur gonna have to wake up and bus in that issh lol

SPEAKING OF WHICH.......immigration at airport told him his pr card will be mailed ot him in 6 weeeks??

HOw is that so when i never paid for it in the application??

Its was funny - but same time must be kinda depressing to them lol

he said to me last night this must be why no one goes out on the streets, cause its too cold...and as he runs to and from the car in the cold..he said this is what ppl kill themselves to come to foregin for LOL

having said that i think our time spent here will be limited to about a decade...long enough to work, build what we have to get citizenship and then cut....but u never know just MAYBE the cold will grown on him?? but hell ive been living here my whole life and it still hasnt grown on me LOL

hi, Anada

I believe the RPRF ($490.00) that you pay is the fee for your PR Card

i didnt know? thought the card was an additional $50?

i just want to really know from now...cause the sooner we get that card, the fast ill be pushing my sweet hubby to the employment line LOL - gotta keep him busy doing something not like he can even go play ball outside or nothing...once he start pulling in a reguler paycheque etc....i think it will help him to adjust better in to his role - have no plans on keeping him as a house wife lol

LOL my husband is taking the cold badly he looks like an eskimo when he goes outside ...but my step daughter the complete opposite she keeps tryn to take off her coat and hat when we go outside
I cant wait till she sees snow for the first time

not only that when he starts working he can meet ppl - interract...we got to keep it healthy and balanced....

he said he said eventually he'll make a couple a parries.....well id rather those parries be employed than not if u catch my drift lol

If you really want to - You can go to Service Canada with his passport and COPR and you'll get his SIN card instead of waiting for his PR Card.

you can also have him figure out his drivers license before 90 days of being here so that he can get some credit for his driving experience. After 90 days he'll have to do the entire process.
