This happened to a member of the POS group. After a very long process and interview, he was asked to send his passport and recieved it back in his pre-paid envelope.. only to find... no visa. He contacted them and they sent it out to him shortly thereafter, but it IS possible that they mess up that badly lol.

I would FREAK OUT. I cannot imagine.. hopes so high.. then open the passport and be like... w t f... lol :-\

More questions keep popping up that I need answers to, my hubby told me on the weekend that the medical costs $1000 canadian, this is what was told to him...is this true??? I know there is another question (cant think of it at the moment), and there will be more, but right now, this is what is the formost on my mind...I do apologise for not being on much, I work full time during the day, part time in the evening, Mon-Fri, so dont have alot of time to be on, but hopefully, that will change in the future when he is here, lol...actually I know it will. And I will make sure he signs the police report, thanks for the info on that ;D

This is what's on my DHL tracking file

To me it looks like at 10:00 the package was picked up from Montego Bay.. and therefore is in transit? It has not been delivered yet though and may be on truck or something? That's what I'd guess?

It's hard to tell from the copy and pasted version.. if I could see the actual online form, I'd be able to tell you as I (unfortunately) now have lots of (expensive) experience with couriers.

Anyway, I hope it arrives soon! Congrats!

I have never heard of it being that much... ever. I have heard the 200-400 dollar range, but prices over 300+ are a rip off if you ask me (you can use any physician in the designated medical practitioners list, so ask price in advance if you have multiple choices in your area)

My hubby did his in the caribbean. He is from Dominica but we were in Barbados, so did it there. We paid I think around 200-300 in Barbados currency. If someone told me 1000 Canadian, I'd be looking elsewhere.

Hi Carli - $1000 CAD if it was being done for 10 Adults!!

I just asked my husband and he said it was about $8000 JA; so approximately $100 CAD. He had his medical done in Mobay.

I just asked my husband and he said it was about $8000 JA; so approximately $100 CAD. He had his medical done in Mobay.

Nuh sah....halfmoon is right.....anywhere from $100 to $150 cdn and the police report is another $2500 to $3500 Ja......pay for pics is another $1000......make sure u keep ur western union papers its good to send them with ur application......

Also......just saying.....if any1 doesn't agree with me say so

Go to the dollar store buy a view cards for christmas....valentines....bday for u and him.....get him 2 write them up and u write some...throw them on the ground and let alittle dirt get on them not 2 much......let them look old....and send them with ur app

I know ppl its wrong but I find that when I had met a man here in canada we hardly took pics 2gether or bought cards.....and now we r doing the samething but our loved ones r in a different country and immigration wants us to show all this shit.....sorry bad word.....how many of those immigration officers have sentimental things of their loved ones hanging around....

I'm just saying...when u reach a foreign......dis country mek u tell so much damn lies....lawd...

I don't know what its like down there, but up here you need two cause once they open the package it isn't any good anymore so you need a second one to send it back again.........
