On a serious note. Hubbie loves pudding. And if the karna shop didn't slice him a portion big enough, I hear him complain all the way home (mind you it's usually done half way on our 5 mins walk home). The slice is the size of a brick!!

Yes of course I have!! Its DEEEElicious!!! BUT (big BUT) Beans make me have gas :-[

Anything salt fish is my ting!! My fav dish is Jamaica's national dish!! Ackee and Saltfish with boil dumplin. I can eat it morning noon and night!!!

my favorite when I go to JA is peanut porridge......we get it from the shop around the corner from my hubby and it is yummy too......can you tell I am missing JA (my husband also lol)

Chickie - I was visiting hubby in JA August 2010 (I have NEVER felt heat like that - ugh!) and my father-in-law decides he is going to show me how to bake potato pudding! It must have been over 50 degrees in the kitchen with the heat from outside and the oven!!!!! He sent the whole 20 pounds of pudding home with me to Canada and when I was going through customs in TO I thought for sure they were going to confiscate it. The customs officer just smiled at me and let me go through!

lmao you are really lucky cause if they knew how it tasted they would have confiscated it for sure!

ohhhh i am really really craving this now lol i don't live in a big city like in Toronto where they have a little jamaica set up and you can get everything there.....it is about an hour away from me and it is snowing like crazy here so I am definitely not going to take my chances driving to TO to find pudding lol

We had a great week here on the forum!! Lot's of noise, shouting and cheering. Lots of confetti for all the PPRs!! Let's keep the momentum going into next week. Here are my last words for the night. I also posted this on one of the other threads but thought I'd share it here also.


When we work on bettering ourselves, we become better for those we are with.
