Thanks for the warm welcome back to my ladies Cee and HM. I'm hoping to save the trip to JA this New Years and have hubby home with me here in the cold instead ...on second thoughts nothing beats a nice hot Jamaican New Years ...hmmmmmmm.

Just a question about RCMP check... My hubby lived in Canada for over 6 months . Our application has been "in process"since nov 1 st. I understand that the RCMP check can take up to 6 months. Is there any way we can go ahead and send his prints ourself to RCMP? Or do we have to wait until asked. Also, by any miracle did anyone ever have to not undergo the fingerprint scan from RCMP??? Thanks in advance!!

I'm seeing posts where people are saying they only do a fingerprint scan if your name shows up when they do the regular RCMP check. Which could be from having a past record or a common name . Is there any truth to this ??

Hey FLK...I'll be back in the cold next week. My file went in process oct.30th and since then nothing...just hoping for a PPR before I fly out. Glad to see that ur process is close to the finish line

Kingston--you were moving good on monday, plz plz plz don't stop now..keep ringing us with updates and PPRS, I'm begging you...we all need our men and women for christmas....#leggggooo......NEEEEXXXXTTTTTTT

Ours went in process October 26th, then my hubby got the medical redo notice November 14th, right after we met up for a rendez-vous in New York over the Remembrance Day holiday. He redid the medical the next day, November 15th. They changed the doctors in JA, so he had to go to Mobay this time and ended up the doctor was his cousin Any ways, now we wait for the next step, which I'm hoping is the PPR. Enjoy your time honey and eat some Escoveitch Fish for me
