It appears that your file is awaiting review. Once they've completed their due diligence (background, security, etc.), it will move onto the final stage at which time a decision would be made on your application aka PPR request.

Yes they are I'm sure of it. Just hold tight. They're just putting all the pieces together and when they've completed their checks and have compiled everything as required, you'll be notified of the decision. That's what they really mean.

Sooooo a bit of good news for the forum everyone....one of our members reached out and asked if we should get the spreadsheet going again and since I know we ALL love stats, ;D I think it will be a useful tool for tracking each and everyone's progress. Even after we've recieved PPR and have moved on, it will be beneficial to all those who are new and start out as we once did. It'll be like a torch that never burns out!

She's taking the time to build one as I mention this so it'll be up shortly.

I guess I assumed all the security checks were completed because they sent out the request for his prints. But my husband needs an ARC so I was hoping they would have at least call him to start that.

I guess I assumed all the security checks were completed because they sent out the request for his prints. But my husband needs an ARC so I was hoping they would have at least call him to start that.

Let's hope and pray they have everything at this point and simply need the VO to sign and stamp. Good news is there is progress (especially with the whole RCMP prints) and you're number is coming up shortly.

I have seen a few mentions on changes to spouses' address on e-cas. Out of curiousity - at what point does your spouse's address appear on your file when you go on e-cas. Currently only my address appears. Does that mean his application was not yet received in Kingston?

Hi Keke,

If you log on using the File number (starts with F) and enter in your hubbies info, his information will populate on eCAS. When you use the UCI number it will only show your info along with the sponsor and PR application status. The status would be one of the three following "application received", "in process", "decision made" which you can click on for further details.

Oh okay! Thanks Halfmoon. I have always logged on with the UCI number. The staus is showing "application received" but it has been showing that since I got my sponsorship approval in October.

Then you're all set. Next update will likely be Medicals Received alongside Application Received.

Now you can log in using either numbers.
