Tuesday .......still nuh see no nothing fi pop a happy dance for
kgn really a try test people.... I am so disappointed every time i look on other forum and see people for April and may getting visa and ppr's and nothing for us here
don't get me wrong happy for them but honestly ....i would love to see some movement for our little family here ..... seems like we are stuck on row boat with just one ore and spinning in circles and getting no where

no.


in the beginning both mailing address and home address showed mine, as his....

THEN few later they removed my home address...and he had nothing more than a mailing address which was my address for weeks.

THEN i went in and updated the mailing address to reflect my apt # to come AFTER the building number.....

for weeks it just showed the old mailing address before changes, then couple weeks ago i checked and they made the changed i requested, and re-added the home address again showing HIS home address to be mine....

So in a nutshell he went weeks with only a mailing address, and now has a home address AGAIN which is mine.

Hey all, I don't usually (ever) post here because I'm applying through POS but I often read your posts because I find the info helpful and relevant to my case sometimes. In regards to this, I think it depends on when you sent your application. In the past when you did medicals outland (outside of Canada), they used to be sent to the visa office for your country (ie Jamaica, etc). However, when my partner got his done, it was sent to Ontario where they do stage 1. Knowing this was strange, I asked about it and the doctor said that all new medicals are being sent to Ontario instead of the actual VO now. So, if you applied AFTER this change occurred (we did medical about May 2011, so around that date) then your medicals probably went to stage 1 office only (ie medicals received would NOT mean that your home VO has your file). If you applied a lot earlier, it may mean they have your file already (as I think medicals used to be sent to your home country's office). Does that make sense?

I know for my case, my medicals received info was put in in Stage 1 (Mississauga). HOpe that helps!

Thank you so much for your help.....I was wondering as I got sponsor approval on Oct 4th and I thought the app was sent to Kingston right after that, giving about 2 weeks for it to get there, It should have already been in Kingston but on Oct 25th, my ECAS changed to medicals received...so hence why I am asking. If it is Canada that does it, then I still have another 2 weeks to wait until Kingston gets my application????Soooo confused.

No hun, I am understanding that regardless if your file is in sauga or not, they will update the medical rec'd. So they do NOT wait to mail ur app to KGN until meds are done (they can be done regardless)

Regardless if you are signed as his representative or not, you still have to fill this form out and pay the $5 to the best of my knowledge.

Getting nervous but excited at the same time. Only one problem. No lights on yet at the soon to be hubby's house...No lights mean no water!!! Looks like this city girl will be down in the gully at the river washing herself up! All i know is it better be back on before the 10th. I need to do my damn hair for the wedding and I am NOT walking down the road to blow dry it

The storm here last night wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I have been through hurricanes in Nova Scotia and there have been way worse windt days down there. The sun is trying to come out here in Toronto so that its good

As far as I know, he does have to sign... You might want to double check with someone but I am of the understanding that it doesn't matter if you are representative, you still have to fill out forms same way as if your not. But I could be wrong. If I am right, this is what you do:

1. Fill out information act form and both you and hubby sign it
2. Fill out form requesting file notes and just you sign it.
3. Have your passport ready.
4. Scan both forms and the info page of your passport.
5. Pay the fees online and print the receipt then scan it.
6. Email all scans to order the notes (there should be 4 scans; but just one email)
