Thank you for clearing this up!! I know in the past, to receive meds rec'd was at the end of the process and usually meant that you were about to be approved... then it began to appear earlier and earlier in the process so it is great to get an explanation for this!!!

I'm driving myself crazy and I really haven't even begin to wait yet! - since others have been watiing for a year and more. This is madness. I check E-cas every 5 mins even tho I kw that I wont see anything different!! I really need to find something to occupy my time!!

I agree however in the back of your mind you will still be wanting to check your status!! LOL! I have actually gotten down to checking every other day. I set my mind that if I check it today, i wont again until Thursday and it seems to work..Kinda like giving up a habit.. I am gradually kicking it until some update when I will probably drive myself mad again!

Oh believe me Jam girl, I'm all over that and whatever else is there. Tv and netflix did work for a while, but then it all became "just another thing that I'd rather not be doing" or I start thinking that I'd like it alot more if my hubby was sitting beside me. Brutal ... I tell you!

I used to be unable to concentrate on anything because my head was always stuck in a book. Now it seem that I have readers' block or smthing of the sort ... I can't get thru the 1St chapter of any book!!

so like how i said his address was updated: i went in there a month back to update the address, to reflect my APT # after my address # and not before to avoid confusion...and then as i said: couple weeks back i noticed they made the change, and put back my husbands address to also reflect (again) my home address....

since i am the one who initiated the change, does that mean it was done electrnocially, or by an immigration officer....

i know i asked something smiliar, but i just want to reconfirm...if this updates can also be done by computer alone.

I know that at one point in my waiting game, I asked this same question and I was told that yes, it means KGN has your file when meds are updated. Now that I have ordered my GCMS notes and see that the Mississauga officer updated it before my file even left Mississauga, I know that in my specific case this was not true. Maybe every case is different. I think that a good sign is when your husbands address gets updated. I think the only sure way of knowing is either correspondence from Kingston themselves, or GCMS notes. Sorry if I confused you at all sweetie

first on my husbands side, when his file was first transferred it showed both my address as his home and mailing....then a few weeks after that it only showed his mailing address (which is my address), and nothing under home address, then few week ago they updated the modification i requested to the mailing address, and put back the home address also showing the modification i had requested in the mailing address...

long story short...im wondering if its me who did that....or an officer,

Tuesday .......still nuh see no nothing fi pop a happy dance for
kgn really a try test people.... I am so disappointed every time i look on other forum and see people for April and may getting visa and ppr's and nothing for us here
