FamJam,
How's it going? Besides the silence from Kingston..
Have a few questions that I know you can help me with..
I am in the process of preparing to move up to Canada (me and my 2 kids) until hubby's papers are complete. We feel its a good idea as it helps to provide intent to live there as well as I can get established and find a job so we both wont be looking in the end. Also he is working and can help while I'm not. SO here's what I want to know:
1. His police record and meds will expire end of November. As we haven't heard anything since, should we just redo medicals now and send? (then they would have a whole other year to procrastinate before they finish our file lol) I will also have to send his police clearance from the us as well when it arrives.. Maybe I should just send everything in one package.. Meds are expensive here!!! $400 + DHL $75 + plane ticket $170.00
not happy about that!
2. If he has to do an interview, (which I highly doubt but this is Kingston) do they have to do it in Kingston? We have a consulate here in the Bahamas that used to file the paperwork before. Wondering if they can do it there.
3. When I do move and find a stable job, he will come up to be with us and wait the rest out. Will they send his COPR there as we are visa exempt?
Thanks everyone!
And although it's Friday :-[ Have a great Weekend! Kingston do ya thing!
