I just checked the CIC website and they changed the date to August 20 for quarterly updates. Part 2 of the application for Jamaica is still 16 months... :'(

Don't let it upset you... take it one month at a time.... I see that and think to myself.. Kingston done mind they own numbers, they do as they do lol... they too lax with some and not with others... truth be told, I get upset plenty of times while I waited with no answers, now I am just mind set to do what I can an nobody cyan stop wi!

Good morning everyone~

just holding a meds these days....and trying to keep cool while everything falls in to place.

My husband and i started/ing running a little size biz in another parish - kinda to keep him busy, employed, making side cash, and reinvest profit aka turning $. As of today were running a street side shop, they built up a stall yesterday, are gonna paint it today and bam...I said congratulations honey....u have a job, and u still get to remain self employed lol ....


Proud of him - ...i like knowing ppl are spending time at least trying to do something productive with their days.




oh on that note: My man never had issues with western union yet....lucky for him he never had i.d. till late last year, so never ever went on to 'collect' - that could be why he's not paro lol

Hi Ladies,

Back from Jamaica since last Thursday. It was a beautiful month down there. Too Short if you ask me. I loved being with my husband. We had a good time, my baby got to see his daddy and they were closer than ever. He cried when we left him again. We were hoping that maybe just maybe, he would have been able come back home with us. So now back in Toronto, and my maternity if over so back at work. The baby started daycare today and I'm fretting right now, cause he's so attached to me.

But I still sit here waiting for the RCMP to complete the criminal check. Were going on Month 4 now. Just crossing my fingers and praying that it's completed soon cause after that check I still have to complete the ARC and I'm tired and frustrated with waiting.

Hey everyone, just stopping by to say hello and catch up on my reading. Great to see Kingston answering emails even if they aren't being specific.. Also happy to see some of you are meeting up.. I think it would be great to put a face with a name! As for me, I've been trying to organize my time and get things prepared to move to Canada. Actually it's making me busier than before. You girls here have been very helpful in answering any questions. I feel many of us will be very happy in the Christmas.

Thanks, cuz here in jamaica its not allowed in schools. Its been 4 wks now and still waiting on the visa from kingston, i need to know about the kids and back to school for september

OK, so I was gone for 5 days off the forum and there were 8 pages for me to read, so I haven't caught up yet! I am dead tired, we were traveling overnight, and I cannot sleep easy in a moving vehicle.

Blondie1216, I saw you asked a question about your husband's FBI request, if you got the answer already, forgive me for going over the same ground. Yes, you definitely need to get one. You need his current address, as they will send it back there. The FBI just needs his fingerprints and identification information (SSN if he had one) in order to run the tests.

OK, I need about 8 hours of sleep and then I will be capable of coherent thought again! Have a great day everyone.
