Congrats to KC's hubby on the job 8) and sorry I missed welcoming Chelley....SO Welcome Chelley 8) I am a bit slow at that kinda thing...but you are in the best hands here with these girls and guys. The best online family

OK so I am not going to call this an update...but last night I was so aggrivated that I went on the CIC sight and started reading everything over again and asked hubby to check his AOR letter to see about dates etc...and I put in his B# (because it says not availabe to QC) and it worked!!!...They started processing his file on October 22, 2009. So I am taking that date and counting 6 months, SO with my calculation that is MARCH 22, 2010, and with that I am going to start my own countdown. 8) Hubby was so happy to hear this news last night...it is crazy how the smallest little thing is getting us excited..lol.

SOSO...I am picturing you now...growling at the clients...lol.

Did anyone else watch the hockey last night?? Canada better smarten up...they almost lost it in the last 10 minutes of the game...little too cocky if you ask me!!...and they better pull up their pants tomorrow.

rosemel.... thanks hopefully it'll be even sooner for you... we dropped off passport last Wednesday and they didn't start processing my hubby's application until Nov 11 (i was approved as a sponsor for Oct 22, so your timeline is very close to ours)

So todays the day!!! So happy ...and nervous ...so is hubby he was like ....make sure youre there!!! I was like ummm yah ...Why wouldnt I be ...lol ...Ill be early babes!!! I know i am the same at the airport when i land .....

So he is already ready to go ...with one suitcase for the 2 of them !!! The hours are ticking .....

The kindergarten class had a homework assignment to find out about something exciting and relate it to the class the next day. When the time came for the little kids to give their reports, the teacher was calling on them one at a time. She was reluctant to call upon little Johnnie, knowing that he sometimes could be a bit crude. But eventually his turn came. Little Johnnie walked up to the front of the class, and with a piece of chalk, made a small white dot on the blackboard, then sat back down. Well the teacher couldn't figure out what Johnnie had in mind for his report, so she asked him just what that was. "It's a period," reported Johnnie. "Well I can see that," she said, "But what is so exciting about a period." "Damned if I know," said Johnnie, "But this morning my sister said she missed one. Then Daddy had a heart attack, Mommy fainted and the man next door shot himself."

hi all have not been on for a while but i hope things are fine with everyone.

i just realized on my marriage certificate that is says i resided in jamaica .is that going to affect anything .

i just came back from ja and i could have got it fixed if i had realized ahead of time .i am mailing everything tommorow morning . we opened a bamk account and took 8 more passport pics i paid parial fees so i just have to mail off THE package anything else please ....

kmc, congrats on getting everything together. My marriage cert states I reside in JA as well which shouldn't change anything. You can live in JA and still apply for PR from there assuming you are candian citizen.

LONELY: Hope you have a great day today. Its well deserved after 14 months.

KMC: I think all people who get married in jamaica marriage certificate will state that. When you go to get the license it says you have to be "residing" in JA for 24 hours before the service. So i think that might have something to do with it.
