maybe the dr's office thinks it's a med re-do? perhaps you can try calling another DMP to see what they say?

Yep, Never heard of that too.. Website specifically said to send in a complete application.. sorry but the person you spoke with is sleeping on the Job.. I would try and speak with someone else

i know i printed off the appendix C ...and the check list and it does state im to send it in...FUCK I HATE DEALING WITH ANY PERSON IN MOBAYYYYYY

Never heard of that either. I actually went with my husband back in october to do his medical. We also did in in Mobay. We did not bring any immunization record. All that was done was blood work at the lab, a physical exam by the Dr. Rosemary King Douglas I believe her name was and a chest X-Ray. Girl that person must be totally out their mind to tell u that.

Bless up!

would someone mind calling MOBAY 876-953-3981, to see if they tll u the same thing they told me...about emabssy sending u interview date along with med papers / appointment papers..and ur supposed to do ur medical approx 10 dys before interview..what kidn of BS am i hearing!

and I quote:

NO the embassy must mail ur husband an appointment letter, and once u have that letter u must then call and MAKE an appointment, yes they said MAKE an appointment ...i said i was informed that walk-ins were available...well according to her they are not, sicne they can never promise having the time to exam that person should they be busy.

I fuckiing hate anything to do with Mobay ppl in these postions...but its closest parish we have to work with.

When my husband went back to Jamaica he got the medical and the police cert. Done and mailed them to me to include in the sponsorship app. The checklist specifically says to include his medical and police check. Just include it because it'll jus prolong your app if its not included.

Anada.. did you tell them this is a spousal sponsorship? I could be wrong, but that sounds like the process for a skilled worker

sounds like they are talking about the U.S procedures..did you tell them it was for Canada? and spouse?

ahh Suki might be on to something too...

you must use a doctor from this list

http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medicalinfo.aspx?CountryID=2056&CountryName=Jamaica

yes I called and they don't do medicals for Canadians... the number was not for Dr Rosemary King- Douglas...

Sigh... I was at work... typing, posted, wanted to adjust, people came around desk, pressed delete, closed it down! I worked hard on that little blurb lol.

Anyways...........

I will give a mini version of it.

I was saying that I was really nieve thinking that the hardest part of my marriage was going to be "the time apart and the immigration process"... and I was certain that If we could make it threw 3 years of not being together and being in a long distant relationship and dealing with immigration that once we were together finally that the rest of our relationship would be smooth sailing and that we would never "take eachother for granted". But I was totally wrong.... After my hubby had landed and that honeymoon phase had ended, that is when reality kicked in, and, other than the normal issues a married couple deal with there was also a lot of other issues resulting from the transition of him coming here. The most challenging thing for me, was having to be the one who was responisble for everything and for him, was being totally dependant on me for everything. There is just way too much room for conflict in a relationship when you dont feel like things are 50/50. We knew it would have to be that way but it was a tough ride in the beginning. two worlds colliding into one. So happy we were able to put our pride to the side and we were able to trust eachother enough to know that in the end things would be just as we imagined.
