Hey Guys

i got the first hint from immigration that my file is not lost in some box collecting dust. ever since Suki got PPR in the mail i been getting hubby to check the post office every week
so today he received a letter from them requesting additional documents.

so i am gona get hubby to send those off asap, and hope fully they will call him for PPR soon, please pray for us this journey has been so long as well had an inland app in 2010 and he was sent back to ja for overstaying and now we are waitng 10 months so far for the outland app. so its forever, but at least with this letter i know that they are working on our file and hope fully it will be over soon

Thts good. Im gonna tell my husband to check the post office too. But ours only said processing for 1 wk so far so I know I have a long way to go.

You see this is exactly what I am saying, your hubby was here, so it really does makes your journey so much longer, so I really feel it when ppl look at my timeline or others and without knowing get upset when their apps arent moving as quick. I definatly have you in my prayers, a good friend of mine is going to apply inland, her hubby ran off farm program bout 5 yrs ago, and I am very worried he will be sent back, or that her thing will take forever (he has 4 kids in ja on the app as well) So I know she is looking a long long wait too.

Mrslwsn, if anything I think your quick process gives people hope that they can get through nice and quick just like you! I expected 8 months looking at the chart and the percentage of people getting through at the 7-9 month mark...so I am pleased with my PPR...still not feeling %100 settled, that feeling will come when the visa arrives

i really don't get upset, i am always happy to see other get ppr and other updates and i do understand why mine has taken so long so i try not to bicker. i wish i had known better back then to just send hubby back to ja in 2010 to avoid all this hassle. not everyone gets sent home it all depends on who has your file so your friend might be one of the lucky ones

Omg I am over the moon right now luck Friday the 13th
I sent in the remainder of the payments on the 4th to the misissauga office and I also sent a copy to kgn… my husband happens to have a contact there in kgn…. He spoke to her today and she let him know that everything is received they have update that all payments have been made and he should stay close to the phone because we will hear something soon…I hope something means that they will be requesting his passport to stamp it ….
