thx, if you put together a solid app, it can go for you guys too. 1 make sure all signatures are there, make sure whatever proof you have it is great solid proof. Doesnt have to be nuff nuff, but as long as quality is good. Pay all fees up front, saves a lot of time. The ganja is the least of your worries. I collected so much info from Charlie and the rest of the forum crew, did my research and carefully put together my app. I didnt want to have to do anything on my end after I send of, so I left no room for error. Make sure police clearance isnt more than 3 months before mississauga get the application and such. I think if you follow these steps, and your app is straightforward, you shouldnt have a hard time. And for anyone new who applying, if you are low income like myself, what we did was also send his certificates and diplomas from high school and college to show he has education and employability here in Canada. All these things I feel contributed to our quick success...........

As I all all everything of everything, with then exception of the police record which he will be going for this coming week, AND his medical.

NOW im hearing a bagga things, so to be clear....when he goes for his medical...how long does it take before he received some sort of certificate, or paper proof of his exam??

Same question applies to record check...i know a rush can be put on that...so im not too worried....BUT with the medical i heard the results would go str8 to immigration...and not him, but how is that so, if they require us to submit his proof of medical??

Anada, you should send everything in the complete pkg and do the checklist, there is a form he is to bring to the doctor(comes from the paperwork you already have) and they will stamp it and give it back to him, that same form goes in your complete pkg to be sent off, from what I remember, anyone may correct me if I am wrong.

My advice is like Suki...I would send in a complete application. Don't rush making sure you have everything needed on the checklist. It will save time down the rd. Trust me on this!

yes that form i sent him along with the others for signature, giving clear instruction that he is to take it with him when doing the medical.

...but suppose i sent him the wrong one, can they not provide him with a form there??

I also sent him something he is to give the the photographer request 8 bigger pics "immigration pics'?? anyhow...the size requested is on this form.

hmmm....fakk it...if they dont test for THC fi tru....i can just have him go do the medical same week as police check. That way when he courriers me back the form he can just do everything one time, and send it all to me at once....hmmmmmmmmmm.

Can someone please give me the address of area, of the Police Station in Mobay where he can go have the police record check done, and fingerprints.?

My hubby not from Bay...but that is his neighbouring parish that offers the services we need.

i wish i knew the address i just know where it is , its just off of bottom road acroos from hotel gloriana and i believe its on sunset blvd not far from airport good luck im sure someone will know the addy sorry if im not much help

Good afternoon forum family, lots of excitement goinhg on here these days and it's awesome to see. Congrats to everyone with updates.
Ana, as suki and the Mrs stated send a complete app. Without the med and PCC it stands a good chance of being returned at Miss, not everyone's but a large majority causing a delay of 2-3 months by the time it is returned, you sending it back etc. Also, delaying paying all your fees up front may cause a delay of 1-2 months as they will not issue visa until proof of payment. Best to take time to ensure all is complete, may delay a couple weeks but saves you much frustration later

Yes the police stn is on sunset Blvd across from Gloriana right before you hit Bottom rd, (Gloucester Ave)...easy to find, just tell him to ask where the police stn is near bottom rd, and they will direct him...If he coming into bay from trelawny ends it is on the left hand side, if he coming in from hanover or negril ends it is on the right side.

Police check takes a while to come back, while medical he may have to go back twice. make him do the pc now before the medical so he can get back everything one time. Then courier it all to you. They will give him the paper for you to add in the application. I suggest you photocopy it once you get it so you have proof that you sent it. I suggest if he close enough he do his medical in Ochie...this has been mentioned before, but not sure if you know...DO NOT USE THE DMP IN MOBAY FOR MEDICAL...
