Congrats Canhubtor!! My hubby is coming up the 29th as well. He still hasn't received his passport..but immigration said she will either send it with DHL or call him to pick it up..but we had to confirm that his ticket was booked. So tell your wife to look out for Hubby..or since you will be there..beg u calm him dung fi me lol

Charlie you are so next..they working on us Feb applicants!

Good morning forum family, congratulation on all the updates and a prayer for all still waiting.
I've been more of a silent reader and not much of a poster over the past year. Kingston
called my wife yesterday and told her that her visa is ready and was sent to DHL.
Whoooo.....I'M SOOOOOOOO HAPPY right now. I'm going to Jamaica tomorrow so I can come back
with her, we will be landing back in Toronto on March 29th. I cannot tell you guys enough how
much this forum has helped me. Charlie you are the Queen and you're next because they
are cleaning up Feb/2011. Thanks to you all and god bless.

So um brings to mind a question? I see canhubtor timeline, they had the passport for almost 2 months? Is this normal?

Good morning everyone,

Feeling so Sad this morning. I miss my husband to death. Before getting married I use to go to JA every 2 to 3 months when I had the feeling of lonelyness. My problem is I'm also 6 months pregnant with our first child. Some days I feel good and other days I feel so sick. Really did not want to travel again untill after the baby is born but I have not seen him in so long (6 months) I am getting very anxious.

I know it has only been about 4 months since I've filled but in my heart it feels like forever. I pray to God he gets here for the birth of his son. Any suggestion on what I can do? Not sure if it will even make a difference or hurry the process.

I can only imagine how you feel...it must be hard not having your husband with you at this time. But, hang in there and I think keeping busy, maybe picking up a new hobby and preparing for baby should keep you occupied. I think it's so cute that you recorded baby kicking and sent to hubby, that's an awesome way for him to "be a part". Praying for you

Congratulations Canhubtor great news!! You must be so excited. Hearing all of these updates makes me feel excited and nervous all at the same time lol. Let me know of your experience of going down and coming back with wifey, that's what I plan to do too

@ Basha, I am praying for you too..it's been 7 months since I seen mine, I am really lonely for him so I understand. I think god hasnt blessed us yet with a child cuz he knows I need my hubs to be with me first, cuz I have 4 kids already to mind. I went thru all my pregnancies alone so I know that is a really difficult thing, but just trust in god, there is light at the end of your tunnel!

3) When the call came, did they get you or your spouse right away or do they leave messages?

I'm not sure about this...but I have heard around the forum usually 2-3 weeks :s

Just wondering...

1) They called my hubby in Kingston for his pp..then they called him back again after sending his PP to say it was ready and to book the ticket..they called me here because hubby told them I will book his ticket..so I don't think they usually call spouse here in Canada. (not sure)

2) Usually its a call.

3) They got my hubby right away because I checked e-cas and saw that they working on our file..so I make sure tell him to keep his phone close by.

Just checked e-cas and our file said "Decision made" This is to answer questions about when your file update on ecas..during or after the decision.

I just checked my e-cas, (nothing new on there), but when I logged off, I was prompted if I wanted to complete a survey about e-cas. I took the survey (3 mins) and at the end it asks if you have any complaints/suggestions... I took the opportunity to say how frustrating it is not having updates for months at a time, etc.. Just thought I would share... not sure who feels the same way, or if having numerous shared opinions will make a difference, but you never know!
