A Huge CONGRATS to Sassy and Mrs, you know I still get a big smile when I come on and see 5 pages to catch up on as you gotta know someone has gotten good news and the wonderful people on here are congratulating them.
Jam, love the pic. Love the stories too all, even if I am a guy
Well I went back to copy my relationship story and realized it was on the old forum and lost to the world, gotta know been on here a long time when that happens.
so, once upon a time there was a Canadian who worked for an international management company and got the fantastic assignment to work in JA for a few months in 2006. I stayed at a resort for a couple days but was getting ripped off by the cleaning staff. Our company also had a couple apartments so I decided to go there. I asked a Ja co-worker if he knew of anyone that could come over and clean and do some laundry and the next day he brought this gorgeous little lady over to meet me. As she worked in a restaraunt she agreed to come over after her shift. I was in a failing marriage at the time. So I would rush home after work just to be with her for a little while. After a week or so I asked her directions to Mobay and she started to explain I realised that I would likely get lost and asked if she would like to join me on a saturday, she responded why not. So she went and got her hair and nails done and simply took my breath away. I took her out for supper at Pier 1 as she had only heard about it and then on the margittaville. There was a beauty pageant going on and she literally stop the show when we walked in. Got thumbs up from all the guys and dirty looks from thier wives. After a few drinks we decided should get a room, lucky me I know. She was aware of my failing marriage and was ok with it. My ex called and said if I didn't get my ass back she was taking everything. After a teary goodbye I went back. We stayed in touch but I didn't return until 08 as I couldn't stop thinking about her. Went back 3 times that year and knew she was the woman for me. We got engaged in 09 and married 12 days after my divorce was final. A year later she finally made it to CA and we are living the dream right now. And Jam, the bed at the apartment had a loose head board so that is where BAM! BAM!BAM!!!!!!!!!! was born.
So hang in there everyone, the best is yet to come ands happy Bamming to those about to visit thier loved ones
