BBBB, yes, he should be able to drop it off at the same time. He should make sure he has his file info ready and just write it on the outside of those awful brown envelopes they give you at the Criminal Records Division (if they still do so!) and take it to the drop box at the embassy.

Ok cool thanks... And yes it probably will b that horrible brown envelop again lol..... He redid the med n police check this week and I received a letter a few days after his about paying the RPRF so any advice from anyone if this looks like closure?? Or what could the following steps b?? I knw that it is finally moving along jus wondering if there could b an interview date now or something that could prolong it more.... Thanks ppls

BBBB - Nope, this is the last lap for you guys. Payment of the RPRF, med and PCC re-do means all processing is done and all that's left is sticking that shiny new visa in his PP. Wait for the PPR call, and in the meanwhile, start planning your reunion!

Some people use lawyers/consultants, who do not always encourage or even inform their clients to pay the RPRF upfront.

Hello everyone..

Charlie or anyone else that can help..I have a question.

My husband sent in his pp along with the airway bill a few weeks now..he just informed me that he put his work address instead of his home because he figured he might be at work the day when DHL delivers the passport. Initially I got mad at him but wonder what's the worst that can happen. OK so my question..Is this a problem? Has anyone on the forum use another address other than home? Should I email Kingston? Also when they requested his redo meds..they didn't ask for his police record..I just thought about that. I think we did his police record little before we sent in the application and we sent in ours in Feb, do they always asked to redo police record?

No, Sassyoneil, it should not be a problem. Remember his current work address is also part of the information they have on him, so there should be no questions about it coming to him there. And it makes perfect sense for him to direct it to work if that's where he'll be, I don't know of DHL delivering outside working hours much!

The PCC redo is not always required. You MUST have a valid medical to land, the statute speaks to it specifically, but the police record is not mentioned, so it is usually up to the embassy whether they want to request the PCC re-do for a particular applicant.

Hey is there a possiblity of an interview still jus wondering?? OH yeah I used a lawyer (BAD BAD IDEA)... I assumed he paid that fee until wednesday when I opened the mail at the front door cuz it said immigration so I couldnt wait 2 get inside....When I read plz pay immediately $490 I was like WTF!!!! FML!!! Anyways I definitely was not expecting that and I would have paid it along time ago had I known 2 save the headache....I hate problems that can b avoided by common sense but hindsight is always 20/20 so live n learn .....Well hopefully this is over soon 4 me and 4 everyone else I hope they get thru in a nice reasonable time frame like some lucky ppl

No, BBBB. I have only seen one case where an interview was requested after a request for payment of the RPRF, and it was not from KG. That case was also highly unusual and is under appeal.

In any case, where the meds re-do has been requested and finally the RPRF, it is for sure KG is done with you guys, and the relationship has been deemed genuine, so there is no reason to think an interview is coming after all this time and stress. Put that out of your mind and look forward to the end of the road!
