Hey forum family, just thought I would throw this out there...

I havent seen this discussed lately, not sure if that is on purpose, but... Is anyone have a spouse from Trelawny? That is where mine is from and would be nice to try and reunite our spouses with locals from home when they reach here...

Well our house is in-between mobay n trelawny border but I can link yu up on the Trelawny link up they do every year here in Toronto in the summer. So maybe if Ya hubby here he can make the links...

CharlieD.... where you been all day?

Welcome to the journey Danielle!

Hey LSSO! Got ambitious over the weekend and over-did the spring cleaning bit, haven't been well. Serve me right, haha! :P Been keeping myself quiet and getting some rest.

Thanks Charlie, and Lifesoonsortout

i have completed some forms already but none that i have filled out seem to be on the list :(

I have...

IMM - 1344
IMM - 5481
and IMM - 5540

UGH!

Danielle, 1344, 5481 and 5540 are sponsor forms. Look at the list I sent you again, you will see them there. Keep going, you are on the right track!

When all else fails validate again the checklist to make sure you have everything http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5443E.pdf.

if he mails me a signature, and i get a stamp made.... do you think that will work rather than mailing him the docs and him mailing back ;D

Hey Guys,
I'm a little confuse here. The reason why you have to go through the rcmp check is because your spouse lived in canada for a while or has only visited canada for a short period of time( like 1 month)?
wow my fear is exactly what you guys are going through right now
My husband came to visit me in 2009 during my pregnancy.

I'm so feeling you guys pain. Come on kingston reunite some families already

Have a bless day everyone

bestisyettocome, Yes, the reason we are going through the RCMP check is because our spouses lived in Canada.

The CIC website states, "Citizenship and Immigration Canada requires the person named below to obtain an original police
certificate for any countries where he or she has lived for six months or longer in the past 10 years.
(This requirement is only applicable for countries where the person was 18 years of age or older
when he or she lived there." So, if he visited for less than six months, then you have nothing to worry about. ;)

Hi Guys,

Hope everyone is doing ok! Wish I was in Jamaica to enjoy another day off! boy did I enjoyed my Family Day..it should have been called "Rest Day" cause boy did I rest. lol

Just wondering how long after you drop off your passport will you get it back? My hubby dropped off his with the airway bill.

:)
