Hi All, I have a few questions and i hope someone can help ....My spouse and i submitted an outbound sponsorship Nov 9 2020, Last we heard anything was in July stating medical passed. Nothing since. they have biometrics on file from 2019 and says they dont need- will they ask for them to be done? also says the will inform us when they start background check - will they? or will they just notify us when they have completed it? the police certificate we submitted expired last month- will they ask for a current cert? should my spouse just go get it done and submit it ? says our file moved to VO Kingston in June but we never received any confirmation of that? So frustrating not getting any answers .. i have emailed and called with no luck, i have requested notes on our file 2 months ago and still nothing. i submitted and address change and also no confirmation it was received or updated.... What am i to do to get answers?

Do I ask the MP where I live in Toronto or does my husband have to ask his MP in Jamaica?

if anyone is wondering it seems as KVO is actually working. I just received back both passports today.
1st was sent VIA VAC Sept 28 took 1 week to receive and approve and another week to be returned.
2nd was sent directly to embassy Oct 6 took 1 week to approve and return.
it was definitely cheaper to send directly to embassy with 2 way courier instead of to the VAC.

Breaking news KVO working but not efficiently they return the COPR and passport without Visa omg and I booked tickets for 2weeks and now have to send passport back
hey all I landed safely and now I'm officially a permanent resident of Canada lol
Sad to say no, I haven't received pre arrival letter as well. Last update was in June when they Request rprf my note is saying file to review by final officer

My husband asked them to deliver it to him but I guess they’ll have to call him since he has a PO Box so I’m assuming now will have to wait till next week since it’s the weekend and it’s also a holiday on Monday I’m not sure if DHL is working on Monday or not
