Hi everyone happy Friday! I’m just trying to pre-plan for my husband‘s PPR he’s in Jamaica and I wanted to ask for everyone that’s done it before me is he able to just go to the DHL nearest his home to send everything to VAC office? Also does anyone know how much DHL charges to courier the passport package to the VAC office? I was also researching there’s money that needs to be wired with regards to VAC Anyone know bout this And can explain please Has biometrics I’ve already paid that in the beginning of the application process so I’m not sure if I still need to wire money to VAC?

mine was April and got dm 3 months later. So you should be due to see something soon. Keep the faith friend. Did you ever get anything confirming it was paid?
I submitted payment April 26th and June 9th I got a gc note saying thank you for your additional document. Which was RPRF receipt I assume.
You skip the vac step. It’s confusing in the wording but dhl said that’s if your overseas or something. No money wire needed. Just go to dhl and they will know what to do. They send it right to Canadian high commission.

I think its all depends of your PPR letter. so Far I've had 3 request 2 asked to send to VAC in that case we paid $3,773 to the VAC for transmission an return of passport and $2500 for DHL to send to VAC.
I also got request today to send another passport directly to the embassy using DHL I was told DHL charges $4500 for 2way courier from their new Kingston location.
also notice the PPR asked for different things. 1 asked for 2 PR size photos along with height and eye color and a copy of the letter.
and the other asked for 1 passport size photo to be included or uploaded to account.
so confusing none-the-less I've followed the instructions as stated in the letter so there's no further delayed.
oh and oddly enough the PPR came differently 2 were uploaded to GcKey account and the 3rd was an attachment in email. I guess it just depends on which agent is working on the file.

another update Guys. I got 3rd PPR today for dependent application submitted August 2020 this time they asked for Passport to be sent directly to the embassy. its already too late so will get photos done over the weekend and courier it off Monday morning hopefully will get the 4th and final ppr some time today so we can send together.
the first 2 passport were sent to VAC and I received conformation email that it was received and sent off to the Embassy.
Fingers cross I hope to have all 4 passports back before the end of October.

Good morning happy Sunday to everyone. Quick question with regards to PPR I know many use DHL to courier the passport over to the Kingston Embassy. However has anyone ever tried to deliver the passport along with the photos and letter directly to the Kingston Embassy? Do you think that we would be turned away if we went directly to them? Has anyone ever tried to go deliver directly to embassy?
