Just an update. I have the jamaican consulate seeing what they can do to help further the application for the form d in order to get my previous husbands death certificate.
Other than that, i did get a letter from an Early Resolution officer requesting documents. I sent in pics of his headstone, an affadavit from a family member stating she knows about the death and the date. I also sent in receipts from the funeral home and info from the gleaner and the US embassy website stating the process and length of time it can take. I included the certified copy of the application for form d, the checklist of items needed for the court, and an email from 2017 showing ive tried for years to obtain the death certificate.
So now, fingers crossed we get some movement or progress soon.
