Cic has been good until this last leg.

I dont know if i am annoyed or just perplexed.

Kingston visa office did not process my childrens PR nor does it make a final decision on it because that was all finalized along with my PR.

All they have to do is issue a visa to one of my two children because they dont issue any counterfoil to US citizens which my daughter is. If i had refused to send my daughter passport and send her to the USA with my mother in july then it would be a problem. My son is 14 and he can kind of battle it out but to leave my 8 year old daughter to the elements is not something i am looking forward to

I am going to pray. I had explain to them return the passport in my two sisters name because my mother is leaving July. Then they send me an email about guardianship change noted. I had to tell them no no its not guardianship change cos 1 of my sister is pregnant which high risk and the other is going off to medical school. The name change is only some in Jamaica to collect the passport!

I can imagine how you're feeling even one day seems like a long time when you are away from your loved one.praying. you receive by the end of the week and can have your children once n for all. have to support each other here because everyone undergoing their own stress alongside this process.

They just sent me an email saying the will return the children's documents as soon as they "finalize" things.

I took a deep breath and said i am not going to answer to them. Because i have explained to them that there is no one to look after my children. What is a passport sitting in an office over 3 weeks doing? Especially for minors?

I had explained to them last year December the situation... They said a soon as i became landed then the children will be issued with immigrant visas. Up until now i dont know what they are finalizing since finalizing of PR for them was finalized in Etobicoke CIC. Email was sent May 28th to issue immigrant visa to my depedents.

God knows. I will give them one more week cos i dont know what they are finalizing

I sent them an email to return my daughters passport let me send her with my mother to USA. To leave your 8 year old girl child is a tall order. A chance i am not prepared to take for even an immigrant visa. My son is 14 he can tough it out

For real.. from what I read eligibility will stay in process untilPPR or interview. Now, it is just background and waiting and more waiting.. good

To be honest from reading the previous forms everyone was waiting on the background check also but they all got called for an interview

Just my opinion from reading it I could be wrong, previous forms on this link everyone was waiting to see their back ground status change but they all reported when the got the famous calls we all waiting for

I even read that once interview requests were placed, background check started, but not for everyone

For my husband’s application the background status didnt change until the interview was completed and he was given the visa

What it said was that they received rhe background check but they havent started it and it remained like that until he completed the interview

They received application in mississauga on jan 8th, they started processing it feb 24th, schedule a was sent with application. it was received it started processing in Kingston on march 19th, medical was done on the 14 of may and interview was scheduled for june 19. Visa was given on the spot but i think it was done so quickly because i was pregnant and my due date was in march. Also they pass you for the medical you should be getting an interview date shortly. Make sure that the person doesnt miss the phone call because they wont call back or leave a message.
