It was almost exactly 2 months.... My husbands status changed to "in process" on March 1st, and we received the initial interview invite on May 3rd.

From what I understand, once KVO receives it, then it changes to "in process"... so must mean Kingston has your file!!

In a case where you've been married for almost 4yrs to a Canadian citizen and have a child in common shouldn't be hard to decide for KVO?

Has anyone attempted to get a TRV from kvo prior or during PR application?

I ask this question because me and my husband attempted back in 2015 prior to marriage. He had an interview but still denied. I am wondering if this exposure would we still be asked to go for an interview and would this help our case for genuine relationship?

Im not sure why so many people get denied! My husband got his prior to the application. His name is on a car and house title, he was a full time student so we had a letter and I wrote an invitation letter as well as his mom showed proof that she has money to support him. That what we did and he got PPR in 4 days. Crazy fast but sad for so many that got denied.

We tried twice, both times denied due to lack of travel experience (That kills me how can he acquire experience without being allowed to travel) and social ties
He has a car and two boats in his name, I agree he has no social ties but why would anyone risk not following the rules when they know it would only hinder the PR process.

My opinion it's just a income for them, the more we apply the more money they get

Back two years ago one woman had 2 kids with her husband in Jamaica and was refused ( I believe they had a big age gap), you just never know what they may do.

So Base on this after medical is received only 3month to wait for a decision. I sure do hope so.
