Well,
I havent posted in a while. I was so excited to hear abt possible interview then let down. So our app is still in the waiting phase. KVO starting processing app June 6. No emails. No start of BGC yet lol. I described this journey like a good thriller suspense movie!

Did you receive an email saying they started the Background check?

No email about BGC' in my GCkey it says for BGC "aplication in progress.we will send you a message when we start your BGC.

Hey, thanks for sharing. I think that due to lots of students applying for their student visas causes backlogs in the summer. Whats your timeline?

I just called and agent was able to confirm Application has been transferred to KVO 2 out of 4 medical have been reviewed and passed the other 2 still pending i assume the 2 youngest dependents passed while PA and oldest dependent had to do chest X-ray and still pending those results.

I noticed our background check had changed to "in progress" once we were contacted about an interview date. However, our interview date is soooo far ahead of us, maybe typically they would do the background check and then the invite would come closer to the actual interview time?

I sent PCC and Schedule A with application and showed uploaded when I linked account so no request was sent since they already had documents.

2013 01 to 2016 - 06 : College

But I traveled alot in that time for vacation, like during summer/ spring/ winter break

How do I put both in? Or more like do I have to put the travel history in?

I've been trying to figure out how to record this timeline since so long

How long did it take from AOR2 to see a change in gckey background in progress and to hear for interview date?

It was almost exactly 2 months.... My husbands status changed to "in process" on March 1st, and we received the initial interview invite on May 3rd.

I would just record that chunk of time as being in college... Unless you also worked? Does it allow you to use the same dates? ie:

2013 01 to 2016 06 - College
2013 06 to 2013 08 - Employed
2014 06 to 2014 08 - Employed

Travel history probably isn't necessary, unless it was to travel to visit whomever you are sponsoring. In that case, is there not another place in the application to make mention of these dates? (Sorry! I used the old application and has been such a long time since I filled it out)
