Oh hellll yess its hard. Very few people get visitor visa's. I wouldn't even realistically consider that an option!! I suggest you send in the paper work like above stated...so he can stay until its either accepted or refused...and if its refused he still has a month to leave. Chances are however that if you send in enough proof of your relationship...it won't be refused. Make sure he knows your family...makes sure you get a TON of pictures of him and everyone togeather. I always say you cannot photo document a relationship enough. Get together every single little thing you can think of to show its for real!!!
