I agree with kangamoose, this should be a place where we can support each other instead of turning everything into a battle of who has it worse. Yes people from visa-exempt countries have the privilege of staying/visiting their spouse without applying for a visa but it doesn't mean they didn't wait years to get to that point or go through hardship. I visit this site almost everyday because it is literally one of the only places where I can relate and talk about what im going through and what others are going through and im grateful for all the help ive received via this forum, but its hard to see others bringing people down for venting and invalidating how they feel because god forbid somebody feel helpless, isolated, or depressed from immigration when there are other people who have it worse.
