Hi Guys,
My Background:
I landed in Canada on 27 Feb 2018 on a COPR Visa. The company I was working for in my home country has sent me on deputation to Canadian Branch for 1 year(the deputation period is usually extended as the one year comes to close). Due to this I had a job since day one, with annual package around 75K CAD. I have the official letter from my company showing my new Salary package.
My PR card is currently being processed and I should receive it earliest by 2nd week of May 2018.
I have a real brother(on student visa) in Canada who is still studying, and his education completing in May 2018.
My only other blood relative is my mother who is retired, currently unemployed but on pension and is over 60 years of age. She is not suffering from any serious illness or health condition and will clear all the medical examinations required to enter Canada. She is staying in India.
Question:
I want to bring my mother to Canada so that I can look after her. Can I apply Parent Grandparent Visa for her? or should I first apply for Visitor Visa for her.
I eventually want her to become PR holder of Canada as well. What steps should I take in this regard.
