What I read in the forum says that you provide notarized copy of FD certificate and a bank letter stating that you have FD with them and provide the details (FD certificate #, etc.). But, if you plan to send original, there is nothing like that.

Today I got my 1st AOR from Buffalo. My NOC is 4121. Application was received by CIO on 17 June 2010.

Hi all,

Im now in the Philippines as i don't have any work in Dubai. I filed my application in london office. My concern is can i change my VO when im going to submit my full documents. Please need your help.

I think this is not the right time to change your VO cuz CIO has already been transferred your file to the mentioned VO if you send the request to change where will you send this and moreover it will linger on your further processing at VO. in my view you just send your docs to London VO and let the VO decide where they want to put your case if they like it to be process at phillipines they will ask you accordingly.

i have some queries,
1. we have made bank FD for required amount and should i send original FD certificate as POF or copy of that ?
2. if there is no change in my app still i need to write any cover letter ?

PS - your october spreadsheet is not accessable.

Dear u can get the stamp of the concerned bank on photocopy of FD stating "Verified with original" along with managers signature and also a bank account certificate stating ur saving account balance & FDs with the bank. No need to send the original FDs.

I think Manila VO may be lot faster than London VO. You are also living in Philippines so, you should try for this change now. In your AOR they must have clearly asked you to submit full docs to London VO, and provide new address, etc. changes if applicable.

I think you should talk to CIO, and send a general enquiry to London VO. They might give you some suggestions on how to go about it.
If CIO hasn't transfered your file to London VO, they may help you.

In the cover letter you are basically explaining them the specifics related to your application. This should help them in getting the complete picture about you (your personal history including work , education, etc.) and your application. So cover letter changes for each applicant. Attach the cover letter to the application forms so they read it before going through the applciation forms.

Also make sure it is brief and list only major points. For example, if you are not submitting sealed transcripts, explain why. Similarly mentioned changes made to your application that was submitted to CIO.

I received my FBI clearance on 10th June, as I started this process before sending my application to CIO (thanks to CIO that took 5 month to send out AOR) . Is it ok to send my June FBI certificate with my application to VO or I need new clearance certificate.

Please provide your suggestions.
