Hello everyone,
I got my PPR for visitor visa on August 12th.I am already on a PGWP and my visitor visa had expired.
I had applied from India, and following is my timeline.
April 16th,2024: Application Submitted
April 17th,2024:Application transmitted to IRCC
August 9th,2024:Correspondence Letter for Biometric confirmation (I have biometrics valid till 2031)
August 12th,2024: Passport request.
I do have significant travel history.
I had raised webform on June 16th,and got reply on July 10th from IRCC.

Even I had applied for my parents on 14th June. Dad got PPR and even visa stamped but no update on mom's application yet.

Application submitted - 14th June
Biometric done - 18th June
Eligibility and background checks are in progress.
I have applied in group for 4 people my parent and inlaws but no one has PPR request.
Anyone knows how can we speed up?

When was it(bio) updated in the portal. Only then the actual time starts.

It was updated on 18th June itself so 58 days are already done from 18th June.

Oh ok. I gave 25th June and it was updated 26 th June. Seems so many backlogs before mine. . Gonna take atleast month end I guess..

Guys..!! My TRV got approved today along with my dependents.

Here are my timelines.

Application Submitted: 15th June 2024
Country : Inside Canada
Biometrics - Valid already
Approval date - 14th Aug 2024
PPR - 14th Aug 2024

Yes called ircc, member of parliament .. they told they have sent a message to officer and to wait..
