That would be part of the eligibility process, separate from the background check. We are also still waiting for our eligibility check to start. (We are not in QC, though.) I wonder if you will get yours around the same time as us since our other dates have lined up recently. Maybe our applications are with the same officer.

That could very much be the case. Well, good for you not being in Quebec since apparently this will add a total of 1 year to the process

I did receive a SA letter (to me, the sponsor) via mail today. The postmarked date on the letter is Oct 11.

Is there anyone who had an OWP and then applied for a SOWP after receiving an AOR but it hasn't been approved yet?

I had OWP and after I got AOR I applied SOWP(July 5).
until now, no SOWP approved and nothing update on GCkey.. is there anyone like me?
